Samsung Electronics Limited Company is a part of the Samsung Group, one of the leading consumer electronics brand in the world (Samsung SWOT analysis 2014). The company is operated in America, Asia and Europe in around 88 countries. Samsung Electronics was established in 1968 (Samsung main website). It is headquartered in located in Gyeonggi-dox, South Korea (Samsung SWOT analysis 2014). The chairman of Samsung is currently Lee Kun Hee. It is reported that now the number of employees is about 235,868 employees. Samsung works with different companies and organisation in order to deliver their products to customers. One of their biggest partners is Google Android that is compatible with Samsung smartphones and tablets.
Being a big electronic company, Samsung also faces an intense competition in the market such as Apple, Sony and HTC.
The organisation has defined its vision as “Inspiring the World, creating the Future” along with their mission “To inspire the world with innovative technologies, products and designs that enrich people’s lives and contribute to a socially responsible, sustainable future” (Samsung main website, Vision 2020).

According to Samsung main website, Samsung Electronics Limited Company focuses on different devices as well as supporting products. It is been categorised into seven groups: Mobile and tablets, TV/Audio and video, camera and camcorder, home appliances, PC and peripherals, print solution and accessories. There is now a new range of products which is the wearable device that can be used along with the smart phone.
