Why an organization should support collaboration among their team?
Collaboration must be encouraged in each team as it helps to grow the team in a better way. People share their creative ideas with each other due to which every team member wants to participate so that they put up their team on higher level. This strength of sharing the ideas will encourage other team members to put their efforts in a team and collect more creative ideas for the development of team. There are many new trends in the global business that helps to support collaboration within team members. An organization must support collaboration among their team mates because:
It encourages self-analysis: Collaboration challenges the people to imagine, communicate and receive

Virtual teamwork minimizes or even eradicates the requirement for funds and infrastructure. The collaboration of team helps to solve the problems that are occurring within the team regarding communication.
It makes an individual look at bigger picture: The thinking of two people will not be always same, and when an individual working within a team, then there are several people from different backgrounds working up together. A leader must know how to power those differences among people and recognize how they can balance each other. One must recognize that even if the project does not shape up the mode that an organization need in the end, then the organization could still attain a great deal because of new ideas that are generated due to collaboration.
It teaches: Whenever a team is collaborating, they will basically learn many new things from one another. Therefore, the organization becomes a body that supports the culture of nonstop learning, as well as supports the method of learning through with opportunities meant for growth and development, and also through safety nets for breakdowns. Whenever in an organization or working place team members collaborate, they improve their ability to go and raise beyond their comfort zones and take the organization to new

For example, one member might struggle with the presentation skills, but may know all about the technical portion involved in the project. Effective collaboration will always allow all the members of the team to share their ability and find the best solution to each problem. This will expand the chances of the industry to attain more things in short period of time.
• Progress of employee skills: Collaboration is equally beneficial for the individual as well as the organization as when they work mutually, cooperate and share the ideas, they observe and appreciate how other people is working, thinking, negotiating and operating in the team. This gives all the individuals a chance to pick up the new skills from their team members and put up upon their strengths. This newly-learned proficiency can then be accomplished in their individual field to look up at various things with a new outlook and make perfection and
After many discussions with peers, I have found that for a team to work collaboratively there are some key qualities that are needed, which include:
By working together there is information sharing, improve safety and quality also collaboration gives knowledge to other professionals. (Littlechild and Smith, 2013).what I have learned through working in partnership with other professionals was creating a poster related to what each professional does. Some of the professionals I did not know how exactly they work together in partnership. Example: I was not aware of how a radiology would work with a social work and the outcome of that was that Radiology develop and maintain collaborative relationship with medical colleagues and participates in regular meetings with other professionals activities to meet the needs of a service users therefore they collaborate with Social Workers. By doing a poster and delivering information I learned a lot from the other team members, shared experiences knowledge and skills with other group members. Group work made me realise how it is very important to work in multi-displinary team, the benefit of it and what others can benefit from. During the poster each of the student was from different professional however we all had the question but each had to look at it in each profession perspectives. This gave an opportunity to everyone to go and search for each professional and communicate with the rest of the group the outcome of the presentation. By doing that, we exchanged ideas learned from each other’s skills and used it into practice. I have learned about sharing information with others, learned about communication and
Imagine watching a vigorous baseball or hockey game, you watch your favorite team struggle to make a goal but your least favorite team keeps scoring. As you keep watching, you start to get aggravated and don’t know what is happening to make them not score. As you are watching you realize they are all over the place and not working together as a team. All of a sudden, your favorite team starts to work together and makes a huge comeback. One may ask why they are not scoring as well as the other team? This is just one element which can be greatly affected by teamwork. Everything in society can and will be affected by teamwork and helping others. Working together makes a enormous difference in each and every one's life in society.
In order for a work place to be successful and beneficial to everyone involve in the company, teams needs to be form, and each team must have a goal in mind. Employees must come together to accomplish a common goal. Teamwork will not only benefit those involve in the project but it will also have a huge impact in your business.
Both the Heart Of Darkness and Billy Budd show similarities. Such as evil and social injustice. However in both of these stories there is a higher level of social injustice. Which raises the question Is the suppression of class an issue for the social injustice in the Heart of Darkness and Billy Budd?
Why do we form teams? The goal of a team is to be able to do something together that could not be done alone. In this big, international, world of business and life we do, in fact, need teams. We need to work together to do all that we truly cannot do alone. Yet, knowing that we need teams is only the first step of many. Everyone has some experience being on a team, but few of us are experts who have done extensive research. A byproduct of this is that there are many common myths that abound about teams. These include misconceptions related to varied topics such as: what makes a team, how to run a team effectively, general attitudes about teamwork, its (teamwork’s) value to business and even its very nature.
(1) I would like to create an optimum work environment by demonstrating collaborative behavior myself. This will inspire my team to follow or model the same behavior (Gratton and Erickson, 2007). (2) I will also allow myself adequate time daily to coach my team on the basis of creativity and innovation to improve business performance (Coutu and Beschloss, 2009). I will give clear direction to my team as to where we are going as a team together. According to Coutu & Beschloss (2009) unless the leader provides a clear direction, there is a real risk that different members will pursue different plans. That is why it is important to articulate a clear direction for my team to makse that everyone is on the same page as we’re moving forward (Coutu and Beschloss, 2009). (3) I will establish a sense of community – When people feel a sense of inclusivity, they are more likely to reaching out to others and share their knowledge to improve effective collaboration in a creative and innovative way (Gratton and Erickson,
Skills and knowledge possessed by every member is also important for a team to become high performance. Although it is among the most important factors, however, it must be coupled with a good working relationship with every team member and good collaboration with every team member. The members who possess the good skills and wide knowledge will be a useful resource to the team if that team member can share their strengths with the other team members and vice versa. It is usually misconstrued that having skillful and intelligent team members is already enough to make a team work right. This kind of thinking is the reason why most teams, despite all of those competent members they have, fail to achieve their goals. A team should establish one common goal, not to think that way and develop a good working relationship with each member. (retrieved from: http://www.strictlysuccess.com, August 18, 2005) This can be done by self awareness exercises, like the DISC assessment and other assessments or any other kind of self awareness exercises regarding communication style differences. Then these factors and important pieces of information should be taken into full consideration before the actual project is begun. These exercise or assessments can be great ice breakers and mark the difference between a group of individuals merely assigned to a team, as opposed to functioning as...

Teams have been around for many years. It is vital for members who are a part of any team to work together so that their labor is not in vain. A major advantage for working cohesively as teams is greater output and interpersonal skills. The drawback of not working in uniformity can lead to project delays and time constraints. Organizations create teams with the purpose of fulfilling certain obligations and acquiring business success. Roming (1996) states that togetherness and dependability means that members within the team assist each other and the team. Which in turn, yields a better-quality product.
Building self-esteem, enhancing student satisfaction with the learning experience, and promoting a positive attitude toward the subject matter are all benefits of collaborative learning. A higher degree of accomplishment takes place as a group because you essentially are a team. An example of this is a sports team. In a collaborative situation it takes every member to do his or her part in order for a situation to have a greater resolution; as where a sports team needs everybody’s individual talent to win a game. In retrospect, as a group; the contributions of our own talents can make the difference between a “win or Lose situation” it gives you a sense of competition, and knowing that you can win as a group; self esteem in one’s self is accentuated. Johnson and Johnson (1989), Slavin (1967). Another benefit to collaborative learning is based on the members of your group. Every individual in the group demonstrates their own input based on where they were born, what nationality they are so on and so on. The benefit of this is that you get a different perspective on things rather than always knowing what you know. You can take information from other cultures and add or apply it to what you already know.
