Imagine watching a vigorous baseball or hockey game, you watch your favorite team struggle to make a goal but your least favorite team keeps scoring. As you keep watching, you start to get aggravated and don’t know what is happening to make them not score. As you are watching you realize they are all over the place and not working together as a team. All of a sudden, your favorite team starts to work together and makes a huge comeback. There are many similarities between hockey and baseball. In the sport of hockey, the goalie has the job of protecting the goal. The goalie stops the incoming puck from entering the goal post and scoring. In many cases, the goalie has to use his body as a shield, for the puck, so the puck will not enter the goal net. This is the same with baseball. The catcher cannot let the ball get away from him as the pitcher throws to the home plate. Having all the team members contribute to the play of the game can lead to a successful career. Everywhere in the world requires teamwork. People in society learn to trust and communicate with their co-workers. Without any teamwork in the world, people would not be able to come together and build relationships with others.
