Middle school marks a very exciting, yet challenging time for many students, parents, and teachers. During this time period students are exploring their interests, moving deeply into their studies, taking on more responsibilities, and trying to find their personal identities. Most importantly, this is a time where students turn from their parents and seek advice and approval from their peers. Because many adolescents are emotionally sensitive and vulnerable during this stage of development, their heavy reliance on peers for acceptance and approval makes them more susceptible to emotional damage. For that reason, school counselors plays an essential role in the lives of their students. Gonkawon Strother and Sheree Leonard, middle school counselors at Thurgood Marshall Middle School in Temple Hills, Maryland understands the importance of their role. His colleague, Sheree Leonard, has been a professional school counselor for three years. Leonard primarily
Atkinson (2000) among many others conceive of residential segregation as a multidimensional phenomenon that can be solved using empirical analysis. Likewise Atkinson wrote that segregation varies along five distinct axes of measurement: “evenness, exposure, concentration, centralization, and clustering.”– I am suggesting an alternative to researching segregation, focusing upon gaining an insight into peoples “on the ground” perceptions of segregation and if they feel if it is a relevant phenomenon in the area by using qualitative methods of interview. Allen (2008) argues that there is “an absence of reflexivity” concerning gentrification in social science research. It is important to understand my positionality as the researcher as an actor

To many people success means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. But what it really means is more than just that; is having a beautiful and amazing family of two boys and one girl, and have the best wife. Also, success means reaching my goals or dreams, like starting my new manufactory and insurance business and keep working hard because in order to reach things I must be ready to fall and rise up. But like I said, to obtain where I want to be; I’ll first need to finish college having my Bachelor in Accounting and start from zero.
During the interview I noticed that I speak very fast and said “um” a lot during my introduction, I have to slow down and give myself time to breath and also to give my client time to comprehend all that I was saying during the introduction. My body position was slightly leaning towards my client. This helped the meeting to go smooth and relaxed, helping her to feel more comfortable. My body position was welcoming but I feel as though it could have been more relaxed. I could have been more relaxed by not speeding through the introduction and allowing silence when needed so that my client could develop thoughts or questions. I maintained good eye contact with my client; I did notice that I looked down a lot when writing. I should
Successful is a simple word, however, the meaning of this word changes quite often. Each person has a different definition of success and that definition can change depending on the situation. Bob Dylan once wrote, “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.” This a very broad definition of success and should not be used. The definition of success should be “the pursued goals have been adequately accomplished.”

Society has defined the phrase success as being wealthy, having quite a few material items, having a stable well-paying job, and a healthy family as a side bonus. There are members of society
When we were first given this assignment I had not put much consideration into it. I thought we were to ask a couple of questions, it would all work itself out and I would be done. But this was not the case. The thought and reflection put into interview questions really surprised me. There was far more factors other than the questions you were asking, because you were also dealing with people, people who are giving you there free time, their attention and opening themselves up to you a stranger, so there were far more responsibilities then what were initially at hand.
I 'll start with the things I did wrong in this interview. First off, I wished I didn’t write down my questions honestly. Having written questions felt like I was going off topic too much. It almost felt like a script because I directly read the questions and it just felt unnatural. The conversation didn 't really seem to flow well because the questions I chose. If I did redo the interview I probably

This interview helped me gain an excellent idea about a real interview situation. I took this opportunity seriously as I knew that this might be the only situation where I could judge myself before facing a real interview. Therefore I prepared myself to be as professional as possible. I believe I was right on selecting my dress, as my team member Nathan Copey said,
