Study Plan
I have completed my bachelors in Electrical engineering with specialization in Power. I am applying for Chinese Government Scholarship for postgraduate studies and this is a brief study plan.
During my school and college, I was very sharp in analytical problem solving and this quality made physics and mathematics one of my favorite subjects. I was very keen on performing the physics practical. My inclination towards physics and mathematics compelled to choose electrical engineering for my Bachelors degree.
I got admission in NUST, one of the top engineering institutions of my country. In university, there were several important courses that I took provided theoretical knowledge about the fundamentals of electrical engineering. The course about power transmission really inspired me and forced me to choose my majors in Electrical Power. In my senior years, I developed a strong interest in the field of power generation and power system protection. So, I decided to do my final year project on the “Protection system of 3-phase interconnected distribution system”. I was leading my group in this project and my tasks were the designing and simulation of the project. The main challenges were to design the directional element and provide a reliable protection in the event of a fault. The directional relay, which I designed, was a microcontroller based model to detect the direction of power flow. The microcontroller in this model compared the phases of voltage and current using the input fed by zero crossing detectors. The directional relay was used as a control element with an over-current relay. The project was a source of great experience in the field of system protection and it only left me asking for more.

...lternate energy is China and has achieved tremendous progress in this field in the recent times. So, I have decided to acquire my postgraduate degree from China. After consulting with my friend who is currently studying in China, he recommended your University based on its strong faculty, comprehensive curriculum, diverse research groups in the field of Electrical and Power Engineering. I wish to get admission into the masters program in “Electric Power System and Its Automation” offered at your university. I strongly believe that graduate studies at your university will equip me with tools that will help me to achieve my future goals. After completing my masters, I wish to further refine my knowledge by getting a doctorate degree. Afterwards, I plan to join a career in academia while continuing my research in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
My preferred major is mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineering is the broadest engineering field, involving the design of mechanical systems. These systems are used in a multitude of different fields such as manufacturing, aeronautics, nanotechnology, nuclear power production, heating and cooling. A primary focus is on thermodynamics, structural analysis, materials science, and kinematics.
Regarding the ongoing recruitment at Amec Foster Wheeler (Nuclear Canada), please kindly receive my résumé as part of my application for the Entry-Level Electrical/I&C Engineer position. I have a strong commitment to launch my engineering career in the power generation and consultancy industry and to gain exceptional experience within your engineering team as it is in alignment with my skills and experience, and I will be working in the field that I am truly passionate about.
Electrical engineering is a field that majorly involves the use of technology in the designing, developing, and testing electrical devices. Majors in electrical engineering focuses on the physics of electricity and magnetism, analysis and design tools of engineering, and circuits and system mathematics. If one takes a course in engineering, they are trained on how to design and make products, which are safe and can enhance human life. This course is not popular to many for it is very demanding and involving; therefore many beginners feel that they are not prepared. As a result, many joining the course find it challenging hence a large number end up dropping (Dan, 55). In order to solve such issues, the idea of using of concepts from popular disciplines like music in engineering was adopted.
(University Name) being the pioneer college for the course, is my first choice for pursuing it from. After consulting my Professors, Friends, seniors’ studying in USA your university has been recommended very highly for its excellent faculty & learning experience. I am confident that wholesome education that I receive at your university will stand me in good stead throughout my career.
After get understanding with the basic definition of electrical engineering, it is time to find out that is this major right for me. ' If you enjoy taking things apart, seeing how they work, and then putting them back together again, this major should suit you very well'. Additionally, an engineering degree should be a serious consider...
A fascination for Science & Technology and keen interest in the ever-growing world of technology motivated me to take up engineering. The power of research and delivering it for the growth of Society is what makes me interested in the technology side of science. I choose to major Computer science Engineering with an intense urge to delve into this challenging field. During my under graduation program I learned the various fundamentals of Computer science Engineering which together with practical course works reinforced my interest.
...the one reason which made me to take a firm decision to study at your esteemed university is that the necessary amount of exposure you provide which is required for broadening up my thinking abilities and undoing any insular behavior that might still be prevalent in me. Your Institution is a confluence of people from diverse cultures and varied ideologies. I am particularly sure that my exposure to these kinds of things would definitely help me in the overall development of my personality and helps me to broaden up my view from the narrow confines of Nationalism to Internationalism which enhances my career aspirations. I would be glad enough to pursue my Master’s Degree from your esteemed University.
Engineering has been a key interest of mine since childhood. While still in grade school I enjoyed listening to my father, an electrical engineer, teach me about advances in technology, and was always eager to hear more. I was introduced to my first computer at the age of five, and have loved interacting with them ever since. My decision to study engineering as a career was no surprise to those who knew me.
The article titled 'Teaching Responsibility'; deals with the issue of student preparedness after high school. The article brings up the recent case of Jonathan Govias who is suing his private high school stating that the school did not prepare him for university. The article goes on to give two examples, one in Virginia and one in Ontario of how these types of problems are being dealt with. The editor agrees s that the school system should be held more responsible for its graduates, but makes it clear that lawyers only complicate matters. I believe that Jonathan Govias' case should be heard in a court of law due to the fact that schools have a certain responsibility and if it is not met then something needs to be done about it. I am in total disagreement with the Ontario's school plan to get rid of this problem and am a total fan of the Virginia pilot project, because unlike the Ontario plan they are actually looking to help the students and not their own pockets.
...d find the right one, it gave me a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that was indescribable. One is faced with many challenges like these as an electrical engineer, but it is worth all the trouble because once the program, device, or circuit works right, and is used by many people for different purposes, one feels accomplished and is ready to try a new challenge with a higher sense of self esteem.
People travel miles in search of their true passion; some find them early in their life and I consider myself lucky enough to be one among them. I found my true calling at the age of 12 on a field trip to a milk factory. It seemed like the Disneyland of science with huge machineries, conveyer belts running all around, and instruments working about in their own rhythm with sheer intricacies and perfection. As a kid, I was eager to understand the mechanics behind this magical rhythm. The desire of gaining in-depth knowledge about Control System and Automation eventually led me to choose Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering as my undergraduate study.
What will I do for the rest of my life? Every person asks this question at some stage of their life, usually during their later teenage years. As a high school junior, I am now asking myself this question. After considerable thought, I have devised a tentative plan for my future. I realize that some of these plans and goals may change over time, but with a plan, the first steps of the journey can begin. To prepare me for the journey, I have taken very challenging high school curriculum, such as Honors and Advanced Placement courses. These classes will not only assist in my admission to college, but have also helped me to develop strong study skills and time management.
I am aware of the hard work involved in acquiring the degree from an institution of international reputation and I am confident of succeeding in the course offered to me at the university.
I am applying to Seoul National University to continue the development of my critical learning skills and to broaden my knowledge base. I feel I am now ready to complete a degree, and understand what is required to function successfully in our environment. I realize that to advance from the world of undergraduate college curriculum to that of an atmosphere of higher education in graduate training, takes much of a prospective graduate student??s time and effort.
Engineering is a good fit for me because it involves lots of math and problem solving which are two of my favorite things to do. Also I am good at working with my hands and with other people. Mechanical engineering requires a good understanding of math and science
