But before we start let's get some things straight. Stephen Curry plays for the Golden State Warriors (GSW) NBA basketball team and his brother Seth Curry plays for the NBA too! Stephen Curry’s full name is Wardell Stephen Curry, and he was born on March 14, 1988, in Akron, Ohio. He was raised in Charlotte,NC, and his dad, Dell Curry, played in the NBA team the Milwaukee Bucks and finished his last three seasons on the Toronto Raptors as well!
He is also fully devoted to God and became a Christian in the 1st grade. He has been playing basketball since he was only 5 years old. So ever since then to keep him motivated, he says these words to himself: “Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going. Be the type of person you'd want to meet.” - Stephen Curry. Those are some words he has been saying to himself since he was a kid. He also went to Davidson College!
