The closer I get to my high school graduation, the more I desire to continue my education in a Christian environment. I have gone to a Christian school for my whole life, and I am grateful for my experience because I am constantly surrounded by peers and teachers who love the Lord. A Christian school environment has fostered personal spiritual growth. Nonetheless, my spiritual life is not finished growing, which is why I am determined to attend a Christian college. The reason I desire to further continue my academic journey in a Christian environment is to enable myself to grow in my relationship with Christ. One major decision one must make after exiting high school is whether to go to a university or go to community college. In the article “Two Year Are Better Than Four,” written by Liz Addison. She expressed her opinion on the significance of community colleges in comparison with the university. She stated that community college do not receive the acknowledgment and appreciation that they deserve. “what’s the matter with colleges?,” (Addison 255). although, there is a lot to agree with within the article there are some faulty statements that two year colleges don’t offer the best education possible and that community college are more engaging and individualized for a student and the price is also much less expensive than a university education.
From my experiences in high school, I know the kind of academic environment I want for my college experience. For the last four years, I’ve thrived as part of the International Baccalaureate program at Poudre High School, which bears significant similarities to the Norlin Scholars program: both involve a community of engaged, academically motivated students who take rigorous core classes together and live within a larger school community. The IB program has been instrumental in my development as a student and as a person during my time in high school. While other colleges tend to focus on sports and extracurricular programs, Samford is a Christian university whose focus is on helping students to grow in their walk with Christ. Multiple opportunities exist to serve in churches and the surrounding community. Whether attending governor's school, or touring the graphic design department, I have felt at home on Samford's campus. I sense God's presence each time I visit and I want to be a part of the experience.
Dear Marco: I write you this letter because I know that you are looking another type of university which name is PCC (Pensacola Christian College). I read about this university and in my point of view, I am completely disagreeing with the university and even more with the rules, we know that you like so much the parties but if you can see the rules of the university, they have several restrictions which for example you can not drink on the campus or off campus even though you are over 21 years old.

For my entire pre-college education, I attended Evangel Heights Christian Academy. Despite our constant complaints about dress code and school lunches, we as students all appreciate the pleasant atmosphere that Evangel Heights offers. Although a great school offering a solid Christian education and providing teachers that genuinely cares for their students, Evangel Heights often traps students in a sheltered environment where students build a wall shielding themselves from surrounding schools and communities. Southeastern University is a private, Co-ed, Christian university. SEU’s main focus is to equip their students to be a next generation of leaders so that they can enter the real world as influential servants to their careers and communities. Southeastern university offers a plentiful amount of study programs, even the program I am interested in which is Human services. I selected this school First because it is a Christian college, and Second because of the programs of study. Academics has always been an important part of my life. Ever since I was a young child my parents have pushed me to lead good life academically. All throughout grade school I have had decent grades (generally speaking in the nineties or above), and I owe this, at least partly, to my parent's determination to give me the best possible education. I also owe this to my will to be at the top of my academic game. This was naturally quite easy for me up until my senior year of high school. When my senior year came around, there was a lot of pressure on me to make a lot of life changing decisions. As a senior, I knew that it was time to apply for college. SLU and many other colleges were among my choices. What was hard was determining which school would be right for me. After months of thinking and discussing with my parents, I decided to attend Saint Louis University. A big reason why I decided to attend SLU is based on its Jesuit mission. The mission is all about providing a balanced college experience to each and everyone of the students. I wondered how SLU’s Jesuit mission would impact my experience at the university.
Since starting high school, I knew my passion was to become an engineer, but I wanted myself to have additional options to choose rather than merely walk a linear line I wanted to test my abilities and see precisely how much I can handle.
