When Marvel Cinematic Universe announced that it would be partnering up with Sony Pictures to bring back the spider slinging superhero, critics were wary about the third remake of such an iconic superhero like spider-man. The big question behind all this criticism was how many times are viewers going to see Uncle Ben tragedy die? Before the release of Spider-man homecoming, viewers were able to catch a glimpse of the Tom Holland’s portrayal of the superhero during an epic battle scene in Captain America: Civil war. Tom Holland would then become the third and youngest actor to put on the red and blue suit. After reviewing the film based on acting, computer-generated imagery and its completely renovated plot Spider-Man: Homecoming is a breath of fresh air to fans all over the world.

Luckily, the director and screenwriters were able to reinvent the web-slinging superhero and his alter ego into a lovable relatable character. Spider-Man: Homecoming is funny, action pack, relatable, and family friendly that is a breath of fresh air to anyone who tried to see the death of Uncle Ben yet again. Unlike its predecessor Spider-Man: Homecoming, emphasizes on high school student Peter Parker and his struggle of being the late-night crime-fighting superhero. Although swinging around New York City through the use of web fluid is not something that everyone can do Peter Parker is character anyone can relate to too. Like any other high school student Peter Parker has a massive crush on a girl who is way out of his league and bullied by the biggest bully in school. Added on top of that Peter is stress due to his late-night
For many years the American Hero has filled the silver screen and wide screened television sets, along with shelves of countless bookstores. Audiences love to see the protagonist overcome great odds, defeat the forces of evil, and save the beautiful girl at the last second. The character of the American Hero however, is not a new idea. James Cooper, in the 1800’s, created the archetype of the American Hero. Natty Bumpo, also called Deerslayer, embodied many qualities of the great American Hero. Modern day heroes are simply following the example set by Cooper’s creation.
In one of the highest grossing films, American Sniper, directed by Clint Eastwood, told the story of Chris Kyle, who was pronounced the deadliest sniper in U.S. military history. Kyle was depicted as a war hero and showed magnificent up-bring to what he sees through the scope. His journey holds astonishing memories and real stories on how the sniper came to be. Unfortunately, being a historic figure is not all it’s made out to be. The positive outtake on American Sniper brought Kyle’s remarkable service to his country into the hearts of many.
Whereas, in the movie the Civil War between the superheroes begins because of Baron Zemo’s elaborate plan. Moreover, there isn’t a group of villains who side with Iron Man to defeat Captain America as seen in the comic. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the villains are nowhere to be seen or dead. As for Thor he was also nowhere to be seen in the movie, even though it was not actually Thor but a clone of Thor in the comic. He still played a big role in the comic book as he killed Goliath and made many superheroes question themselves if they were doing the right thing or fighting on the right side. Moreover, in the movie there was no death scene but rather replaced by War Machine being accidentally hit by a streak of lightning thrown by the Vision and leaves him partially
scenes which gives you the need to be one of the characters from the flick.
To demonstrate his support of the Act, Spider-Man unmasked himself and revealed to the world that he was Peter Parker. Iron Man traveled to the
... through which the creators of the film evoked a sense of urgency and established an atmosphere of imminent danger. This aspect was then further augmented through the use of long-shots to portray the speed of the train and the danger that loomed several hundred meters away. Personally, the presence of dynamic secondary characters that are typically acknowledged but virtually flat and static allowed viewers to effectively comprehend the transformation of the perception of Spiderman. Through these effective cinematographic techniques and character development, the director creates a clip that is symbolic of the power of the individual and the fact that, regardless of our social situation or context, we can strive to accomplish the unimaginable. It is therefore of no surprise that audiences and film experts hail this sequel as a paradigm in the genre of the superhero.
... of The Amazing Spider-man 2 would say that this film has a number of defects. There are Gwen’s death, unsatisfactory ending, and even insufficient storylines. I should agree that this film needs more efforts on the detail parts. However, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was abundant and technically magnificent production for me, in many ways. As I mentioned above, Gwen’s death part gave the audiences many meanings to think about heroic movies critically, and the actors’ movements were fantastic enough. The computer-generated special effects of this film director were spectacularly real when Spider-Man dangled from a tower shelf or swings through New York City. I could feel excessive joy, and Additionally, the scene where Electro appeared Times Square was masterful in drawing the audiences’ attention as well. I hope to watch the next movie as a big fan of the Spider-man.
This all shows that the reason for the viewer wanting to be spider-man is the fact that the director, Sam Raimi, has managed to bring together some of the greatest techniques and fine tune them into his own style, then apply them to this film, making the viewer really feel as if they can relate to spider-man.
Despite a recreation of the original movie in 2002, I thought Garfield was really good at the role. Him and Emma Stone (aka Gwen Stacy) portrayed the roles, should I say amazingly? My biggest issue was that I don’t feel like Garfield was, how do I put this, nerdy enough? The wit and looks were totally there and he really did play Spider-Man really well, I just felt like the way the movie was scripted just didn’t show enough of the nerdy side of him. I did believe that if the movies were done better, Garfield had a shot to join the avenger phases.
Spider Man 2 In the movie “Spider Man 2” Peter Parker is tired of living two lives, which he finds very difficult. Peter is stuck balancing personal life and crime-fighting life. He sometimes has to leave friends and family to go to the rescue, he just wants to live a normal life! On top of everything, Harry Osborne blames spider man for his father's death!
We all have heard of Spider Man. He was the average teenager until he was bitten by a radioactive spider. I like Spider Man but I believe there are a lot of things missing in his movies. The police and government are portrayed poorly, as to assisting Spider Man or lack there of. Spider Man goes about doing his own thing, outside of the law. He is something we can all relate to and I believe that is why a lot of people like him. Most people would say they want to be like Spider Man because of his cool super human powers. I believe it would be a lot of hard work, dedication, and a lot of responsibility. Think about this, you would have two lives to live as a completely different person. You would have to keep up good grades, make some money to live on, support your family in one life, then save people, fight crime, and kill villains in the other life. It would be way to overwhelming for me.
The test for Fox is the departure of Hugh Jackman who was the constant in the franchise that we could always count on but with new actors like Dafne Keen (X23) who is only 12, Evan Peters ( Quicksilver), and James Mcavoy taking the reins of Professor X from Patrick Stewart, the future of X-Men franchise is in good hands of Fox with more spin-offs like Gambit and Deadpool 2. After the success of Fox’s X-Men universe and all of Fox passionate fans, Marvel Studios decided to start something with heroes they have and assembled the Avengers with Iron Man (2008) the first installment of phase one led by the main character Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downy Jr), a playboy egotistical genius.

In these superhero media, the outcome would always be favorable in the real world whether it is saving the world from a fantastical alien or even just capturing a criminal on the run. Superheroes are the key to unlocking an alternate universe that gives a break from the hardships of the real world. The article “Post 9/11 world: What caused the rise of superhero movies” further establishes this point. “Viewers needed reassurance. After the terrorist attacks, Sony added a brief scene at the end of the film, where Spidey swings through the city and grabs hold of a flag pole.
