Since 2000, there have been 3 different guys to play Spider-Man in the movies. From 2002-2007, being in 3 movies, Tobey Maguire was the first Spider-Man. From 2012-2014, Andrew Garfield got his chance at the role as the Amazing Spider-Man appearing in two films. In 2016, during Capitan America Civil War, we got introduced to the latest Spider-Man, 21-year Tom Holland. Being such a comic movie nerd as I am, of course I have seen all the movies and decided to give my take on how the 3 guys rank. Please note that this is all my own opinion and I will discuss the person in order of appearance first then finish by my ranking. Tobey Maguire first appeared as Spider-Man in the 2002 Spider-Man movie. This was the first time to see the real life superhero on the big screen and I thought that Maguire nailed the role. He was witty and smart, and had all the traits of a the well known Peter …show more content…
Despite a recreation of the original movie in 2002, I thought Garfield was really good at the role. Him and Emma Stone (aka Gwen Stacy) portrayed the roles, should I say amazingly? My biggest issue was that I don’t feel like Garfield was, how do I put this, nerdy enough? The wit and looks were totally there and he really did play Spider-Man really well, I just felt like the way the movie was scripted just didn’t show enough of the nerdy side of him. I did believe that if the movies were done better, Garfield had a shot to join the avenger phases. Seeing how the first of the two movie in which Garfield star in was released in 2012, he was set up easily to jump right into the 2nd phase of the avengers. The only issue was, there was no link between the Amazing Spider-Man movies and the avengers. If director Marc Webb, again not bashing him at all here, was given a chance to link the Amazing Spider-Man movies with the avengers, I do believe Garfield would have stayed on longer as
He is a towering 6'3, has wildly curly hair, stunning blue eyes, and is one of the world's most respected comedic actors. Who is it? It's Will Ferrell! The star of many hit comedies, including Old School, Anchorman, Elf, and Talladega Nights,Will has been making people laugh ever since his 7-year run on Saturday Night Live. Unfortunately, when he first started on the show, people looked to him as being one of the most annoying cast members in the history of the show. His career almost seemed like a joke! However, Will went on to overcome his negative self-image in the world of comedy by surprisingly becoming a hit on SNL, making box-office topping movies, and using “funnies” to tune the youth into political issues.
"Miles made big waves when he took over the lead as the Ultimate Universe’s Spider-Man after that Earth’s Peter Parker died in the line of duty. Since that time, he quickly built a following of fans
If I were to ask you to think of a name that best defines the role of funniest and most ridiculous person in Hollywood, I would bet that several of you would come up with the name Will Ferrell. This shouldn't come as a surprise to any of you as Ferrell has filled hilarious roles in recent years such as Buddy the elf, Ricky Bobby the racecar driver, Ron Burgandy the anchorman, Chaz Michael Michaels the figure skater, and many others. Ferrell has become a modern comical titan as he blew away Saturday Night Live with some of the best ratings in history and has developed into one of Hollywood's funniest and highest paid comical actors. With the way that he can pull off dumb humor and make people fall out of their chairs laughing time and time again, it seems that Ferrell was destined to be a comic from the start, but it wasn't always that way. Although he is now regarded as one of the funniest and highest paid comical actors in Hollywood, Ferrell's comic acting career probably spawned from a childhood hunger that for a long time, even Ferrell himself was unaware of.
MR: Of course! I was very happy when I was called for the casting of this movie. I enjoyed to share the work area with a guy which I consider an idol: Robert Downey Jr. In addition, I loved to perform the Hulk’s role in the movie. Many positive critiques were received about my performance (Clevver Movies, 2012).
Kevin Feige explained, "People have been asking me that for 15 years. In 2001, 2002, 2003 there were two Marvel Studios' films, three Marvel movies, and I still feel sure of the truth of the same thing, which is as long as the ones that we can control are as good as they can be, that's all that I care about. I think we've been doing pretty well. I showed confidence in the films we've declared that we have come forward that they're going to be surprising and different and being the only one of its kind. I've said a lot: I don't believe in the comic book genre. I don't believe in the superhero genre. I believe that each of our movies can be very unique."
Will ferrell was the star of his first movie, and took the roll from Robert Downey Jr. Will ferrell made some of the greatest comedy movies like Elf and Anchorman. Wills role in most of his movies consists of a dumb character making it big in the end. Will Ferrell has gained fame in the end if it all with earning his star on the Hollywood walk of fame. Will ferrell has met many other TV stars as he has been on the big screen. Will ferrell will forever be remembered for Step Brothers with John C Reilly and the legendary song Boats and hoes. Will Ferrell was also the NASCAR star driver in talladega nights, also with John C Reilly. Will Ferrell's movie the anchorman was great because of some other great characters in it like Steve Carell. Will ferrell's movies are important because they also teach you life
The coolest thing about Spider-man is that he not only has super mutant abilities, but he is also outstandingly smart and ambitious. Even from an early age Peter Parker was fascinated by and skilled in math and science, inheriting the genius of his father. Peter has been portrayed as a brilliant student and has even worked beside the notable research scientist. ...
... of The Amazing Spider-man 2 would say that this film has a number of defects. There are Gwen’s death, unsatisfactory ending, and even insufficient storylines. I should agree that this film needs more efforts on the detail parts. However, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was abundant and technically magnificent production for me, in many ways. As I mentioned above, Gwen’s death part gave the audiences many meanings to think about heroic movies critically, and the actors’ movements were fantastic enough. The computer-generated special effects of this film director were spectacularly real when Spider-Man dangled from a tower shelf or swings through New York City. I could feel excessive joy, and Additionally, the scene where Electro appeared Times Square was masterful in drawing the audiences’ attention as well. I hope to watch the next movie as a big fan of the Spider-man.
Woody Harrelson an american actor with a daredevil personality. He has been nominated for an Academy Award and Best Actor for The People. Woody harrelson's early life with dark family past, has set an image for him but he has overcome that barrier and shaped his own career path. “...Harrelson is old school. He rarely takes offence at questions, answers honestly, is slow to big himself up, quick to put himself down, describing himself, for example, as “a pretty lazy guy, at heart”(Palmer,2018).

Heath Ledger, Jared Leto, Jack Nicholson, and Cesar Romero are all actors who have played the Joker in a Batman movie. They all have different aspects of the Joker that they bring to the table the two actors I will be comparing are Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson. Nicholson is in the 1989 version of Batman and Ledger appears in the 2008 The Dark Night and they are very different.
The director of Spider-Man (Sam Raimi) has introduced the audience to a feeling of aspiration through a variety of different techniques and captures the viewer’s attention to the smallest details with great success and deliverance to become the character that is Peter Parker.
In 2002, starring Tobey Maguire as the main protagonist, Spider-Man was officially released. Ten years later, The Amazing Spider-Man, was a reboot and a clean slate from the 2000s series, featuring Andrew Garfield. Both Maguire and Garfield play Peter Parker, an outsider at high school and living with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben, who gains his power by the bite of a genetically engineered spider. Both Maguire and Garfield play their role very well. Maguire gives off the vibes of Peter Parker as a more serious and dorky character whereas Garfield plays Peter Parker as more of a goofy outsider.
We all have heard of Spider Man. He was the average teenager until he was bitten by a radioactive spider. I like Spider Man but I believe there are a lot of things missing in his movies. The police and government are portrayed poorly, as to assisting Spider Man or lack there of. Spider Man goes about doing his own thing, outside of the law. He is something we can all relate to and I believe that is why a lot of people like him. Most people would say they want to be like Spider Man because of his cool super human powers. I believe it would be a lot of hard work, dedication, and a lot of responsibility. Think about this, you would have two lives to live as a completely different person. You would have to keep up good grades, make some money to live on, support your family in one life, then save people, fight crime, and kill villains in the other life. It would be way to overwhelming for me.
A perfect movie character is one that the audience can form a complex, personal relationship with in the short time that a movie is viewed, displaying the art of acting and drama perfectly. When the thought of lovable movie characters is brought up, Johnny Depp will almost always be apart of the discussion. With his quirky, lively attitude which blends perfectly into roles that should not have soul, Johnny Depp is truly a one-of-a-kind actor. With a spectrum of characters Depp has played, ranging from Edward Scissorhands in the movie Edward Scissorhands (1990), to playing his role in 21 Jump Street (1987), up until the recent Pirates of the Caribbean (2003), he is involved in roles that “only the likes of Depp can pull off” (“Johnny Depp”, 1). Although coming from rebellious teenage years and many “ups and downs of his personal life” (“Johnny Depp Biography”, 2), the actor has become one of the great faces of the movie scene of his generation.
