PART II- Recommendations Additional Duty: The additional duty that I believe will best fit your interests is to be the unit internet equipment custodian (ITEC). You will be responsible for accounting for 400 pieces of hardware at any given time, submitting reports to the base equipment custodian officer (BECO) annually, and preparing for no-notice inspections. As an innovator, this will allow thinking outside the usual standards of accounting for the equipment. Doing the same thing that everybody else does isn’t something you enjoy doing, so enabling you to come up with new ways for accounting for equipment will be beneficial to you. As a creator, you can set the standard for all the different blocks of training and other courses we account for to get you what you need and when you need it. Setting that standard can help you with understanding and learning about different managerial skills and how one leadership style can differ between sections to implement what you need. You will also be able to manage the productivity of the computers and coordinate with external sources, such as the Communications Squadron, to get computers and equipment fixed promptly. Communicating with outside agencies will significantly affect the Air Force because you will be able to identify when you need to adjust your leadership style to complete projects with other sections or outside organizations. Computer equipment is a valuable asset to Air Force because a considerable amount of money spent on it. By maintaining this equipment, you provide the only department in the Air Force, which produces certified handlers, to stay in contact with Air and Education Training Command and the 2nd Air Force. Special Duty Assignment: I believe you that you will great asset as a Recruiter, at a location of your liking, pending it fits the needs of the Air Force.
Your innovation and motivation can help recruit the next generation of Airmen. Don’t forget that work comes first, so this will require you to effectively and efficiently manage your school work appropriately without hindering the mission. Effectively managing your time shouldn't be an issue for you, since you are an innovator with the ability to generate new ideas to move towards success. Additionally, as a flexor, you possess the skills necessary to create and execute a schedule that fits your needs and refining it as required. I encourage you to filter your ideas through me to ensure that we choose the way to approach them while adhering to the standards set forth by our operating instructions. Once we decide together, I want you to create an implementation plan and route it to TSgt Sutherland, so that he can look at it. If he approves, he will then return it to me for further review. I will refine it and help you execute your plan. I need you to get this done so that you can enroll in classes as soon as possible. I recommend that you take one class at a time to avoid having too much on your plate. Avoiding overwhelming yourself will help with your development as an effective recruiter for the Air Force. The Air Force needs well trained and competent recruiters to produce quality graduates, and you will provide that service. Further down the road, the Air Force will have knowledgeable, capable Airmen to execute an ever-changing mission. Attaining a degree that reinforces your current field will further expand your job knowledge, making you an exceptional Air Force asset. Furthermore, you can share your increased job knowledge with your peers, subordinates, and even your supervisors. Increasing their knowledge base will make them more valuable to the Air Force mission as well. As your supervisor, I will always be there when you need me, but this will also help you with improving your self-management skills.
The primary roles that were incorporated into group were defined by the leaders of group. Those leaders included the social workers and group psychologists, as well as students when appropriate. The leaders focused on task and maintenance roles, such as; coordinator, elaborator, evaluator, information seeker, initiator/contributor, opinion giver, procedural technician, encourager, gatekeeper, harmonizer, and standard setter. The individual roles was primarily the dominator. Due to the dominator portion of group, it changed the atmosphere and will be discussed later.

Air Force Special Operations The United States of America is a powerful and well known force throughout the world. It has become a superpower of nations in just about three hundred years, being one of the newest nations in existence today. Its military reaches out into several countries in the globe and holds a presence as a peacekeeper and wielder of democracy. Of the US military’s five branches, the Air Force is the ruler of the skies, keeping control of the earth’s aerospace. Without the Air Force Special Operations, the military could not complete operations as effectively or efficiently as it potentially could.
In the late 1930’s, over 150,000 volunteer aviation enthusiast wanted to put their skills and planes to use to protect their country. The Civil Air Patrol was born was born one week prior to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. During the course of WWII, Civil Air Patrol logged over 500,000 flight hours, sunk two enemy submarines. The Civil Air Patrol has an interesting history from World War II up until the present day. In the early stages of Civil Air Patrol, there was a strong need for national defense on the east coast where German U-boats had sunk multiple cargo and supply freighters within miles of the coast. The US Army Air Corp had made the decision to allow Civil Air Patrol to make ninety day trial patrol missions up to one-hundred and fifty miles out from the east coast to search for enemy submarines.

The role of a Field Training Officer is vital to law enforcement. There are a few key components that are required to be a successful FTO. Some of these functions are the training of new deputies along with evaluating and supporting them in their duties. The philosophy behind being a successful FTO is understanding the need and existence of the FTO program. An FTO should have qualities and attributes that create a positive teaching environment. Such attributes and qualities are being flexible and charismatic along with knowledgeable, accountable and adaptable.
