That’s when I decided I wanted to become an FBI profiler for the Behavior Analysis Unit (BAU). In order to become an FBI agent, you have to work in law enforcement and work in homicide or be a person’s investigator. Who would hire me with these interests that I envelop? Local law enforcement, like the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, would hire me. If I decide to move, I would work at law enforcement in Washington D.C. or in Virginia, which is where the BAU’s company is.
Mario Andretti once said, “Desire is the key to motivation, but it's determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal - a commitment to excellence - that will enable you to attain the success you seek.” Andretti’s words are as true today as when he spoke them. Everyday should be a continuous journey to get to your goal. Starting off with the right step is a major component. Therefore, I chose to apply to Stanly Early College High. I believe that I have the ability to work up to Stanly Early College standards. Determination, dedication, and desire are all qualities that I have.

I am doing my future job report based on a Private Missing Person Investigator, also known as a Detective, which is a person who basically helps find anybody that has once been a part of a cold case, a run-away, kidnapped, or eve sold children who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. This career caught my by watching a movie called “Prisoners”, it’s about 2 little girls about the age of 5 (Alyssa & Marcie) on Thanksgiving Day they go to their neighbors (Marcie’s House) to celebrate with them, but that’s when it goes downhill . . . the children being abducted while playing outside! As the movie continues they hire a detective to find Marcie and Alyssa. While, the detective finds Marcie but no sign of Alyssa, only to go back the accusers house and finding the accused sticking a shot in Alyssa’s arm which was a Lethal Dose of Sedative, the detective stops half of the dose not going into the little girl, while being shot at having a near death experience with a wound close to the brain but dodges it at the perfect timing while being able to save both of the girls and him as well! This may sound scary and look scary but it also saves tortured kids, sold kids, or even worse. I will do it not just because people tell me to but to help this world, I may not make a big change in the world, but a change that will make people say, “because of her I have my child again,” or “ because of her this world is allot better.” I will be the change the people want and need, even if it means risking my life for a child/teen/ or adult!
My ultimate goal of becoming a CIA agent is to help people, protect people, and overall help the united states. The reason I chose the John jay college of Criminal Justice is because it is a very highly rated school with a beautiful campus. And even though you do a lot of good things as an agent there are a lot of difficulties such as working hours, or even death. If I become a CIA agent when I get older I will benefit society very much, because I am protecting people, keeping them safe from harm, or anything else, This is why I want to be a CIA
I feel the Suffolk University can lay the groundwork for making these dreams a reality. Regretfully, when I entered high school, I did not realize how hard I had to work to get what I wanted. I went to my classes, did my work, but never really pushed myself to my full potential. I thought that as long as I graduated with decent grades I would be able to get into college and really focus then. But as high school quickly came to an end, I realized that I was not as well prepared for college, as I would have liked.
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID), and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) are a few other agencies that also employ criminal profilers. Although there are other employers that hire criminal profilers, the FBI is the most prominent. In order to be considered as a potential member of these programs, having an advanced degree in behavioral or forensic science is recommended. However, the most important qualification is an agent’s overall experience as an investigator of violent crimes. John Douglas, a famous FBI profiler, believes that “degrees and academic knowledge [are] not nearly as important as experience and certain subjective qualities” (Muller 250).
My primary short term goal is to get accepted to a well-respected university. Even though admission decisions are virtually out of my hands, I truly believe that I will utilize the resources to their full potential. Additionally, I plan to finish my high school semesters with all A’s (no “senioritis”) and use it to transition into the college course load.
Goals give you something to measure yourself against and give you direction. Currently, my main goal is to graduate from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree of science in engineering with a concentration in biomedical engineering. My anticipated time to graduation is five years with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Beyond getting my bachelor’s degree at East Carolina University, I would like to go to medical school and become a doctor focusing on prosthetics. In order to make my goals a reality, I will have to work diligently to remain on track throughout my schooling. Additional goals that I have set for myself are to complete homework assignments by the time they are due, reading assigned material before it is discussed in class, doing well in each of my courses this semester, successfully participating in extracurricular activities, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, getting a position as an engineer, and becoming a leader within both the engineering community and the general community. A world-class engineering student woul...
Training would include classroom instruction on state and local laws, constitutional laws, civil rights, and police ethics. To become a federal agent you have to go through extensive training usually at the U.S. Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia. Some important qualities that you would need are
This year I set myself three Everest goals so I could become a better student. All three of the goals involve how I will work my hardest to become a better student and person. First, I will exceed as a 7th grader to become a better student, by studying for tests and making sure to pay attention to my teacher. Second, I will become a better person as a friend and a student, by caring about my friends and my teachers than just about myself. Finally, I will work to learn subjects I could use for my future, I will exceed this by listening to my teacher and taking notes on what I learn. Throughout this year I will try my hardest to exceed these goals that I have set for myself. Every day I will work harder and harder to become a better person, as a student and as a friend!
I'm writing my paper on what all goes into being a Secret Service Agent. This paper will explain what responsibilities Secret Service Agents have. What courses that they have to go through to become a Secret Service Agent. Most people hear the term Secret Service Agent and automatically think about the men in the suits and glasses guarding the President of The United States. That’s only a small portion of what Secret Service Agents do. A Secret Service Agent has two main missions; that I will mention later on.
