Spanish cuisine is very popular in many places all over the world. There are so many different Spanish dishes made with ingredients from all over the world like fresh vegetables, fruits, seafood and meats. The traditions shared by generations of families still live on today and are celebrated in many Spanish homes on a daily basis. Food is an important part of every culture and gives other countries and places an opportunity to experience a little part of theirs.
Breakfast is usually the lightest meal eaten in Spain. A typical breakfast in Spain consists of café con leche which is a strong coffee with hot milk and a piece of toast with jam or a pastry. Some Spaniard's prefer to skip breakfast and have a coffee break later in the morning or around 11am. Most people eat breakfast at 9am or 10am before rushing off to school or work. And some people just skip breakfast all together and wait for a early afternoon snack

Lunch is by far the largest and most extravagant meal of the day in Spain.
In most parts of Spain lunch is served in two or three courses to allow people more time to taste all the complex layers of flavor involved in each dish. The first course of the meal is most likely a soup, salad, or a variety of tapas. It is most likely going to be something light that will not fill you up too much. The next course is typically served with a protein or meat such as beef, pork, or fish and a serving of steamed vegetables. Bread is almost always served with a meal as well because it is wonderful in soups and to enjoy the sauces used to cook the food. Wine is also large part of Spain’s food culture. Wine is served with meals all over Spain. There are many vineyards spread throughout Spain. There are also countless types of wine made in Spain ranging from a bold red to a fruity white wine .There are over 400 different types of grapes grow all over Spain. Although the majority of Spain's wine is red, Spain also makes a lot of brandy and sherry.
This topic is related to the Spanish subject because the cuisine is an important part of Spaniards everyday lives and hundreds of years of traditions. Every person has a different way of preparing and eating food and it is important to embrace generations of traditions and family recipes. Still today those traditions from the Spanish culture will live on through those who continue to recreate the foods and dishes that their ancestors and family members created years ago.
