There are many soft skills that a support technician should know before on working with customers on the job to help on any issue the customer may have. The soft skills that technician should know are “helpful attitude, respect. good communication skills, ownership of their problems ( meaning if you make a mistake take full responsibility ), dependability, credibility and of course professionalism. These are the soft skill that all technician should all have when working with customers.
One of the first soft skills that all technicians should know is “respect”. The reason for have this soft skills is because having respect is showing the right attitude, if you respect a customer then the customer would show you respect. If you give the respect that people deserve then people would give you the respect you deserve. Showing respect and by consider yourself a guest at the customer’s site you would make the customer happy and on see you as a profession.
The second soft skill that all technicians should know is “good communication skill”. The reason for all technician to have good communication skill is, because with good communication skill lets you to be able to talk to people very well and cooperating with other people and also customers that you would be working with on your job. Good communication goes also well with people you work with to being able to talk with your co-workers and also your boss, having this soft skill will help you in your live.

Customer service is valued as a competitive tool by many organisations. It gives you the ability to gain customer loyalty while meeting the customer’s expectations. Staff will have many skills and knowledge that will provide a competitive edge. Most organisations are known for the quality of their customer service. This means that they are known for good customer service or poor customer service. However, being known for good customer service will attract customers. It will also attract customers who are usually hard to reach.
As I have noted, I truly believe that the numerous job skills that are needed to be successful include dedication, communication, and adaptation. First of all, you must be devoted to your career if you want exemplary results. Equally important, being able to articulate your ideas, and intellectually communicate said ideas will ensure a successful time at you occupation. Last but not least, in order to be successful in your employment, you must be flexible to the obstacles that are inevitable. I urge you to strive to obtain these essential job skills because they are worthwhile.
The skills that I am referring to are Oral and Written Communication, Interpersonal, and Teamwork skill. These sets of skills have been identified US dept of Labor and other universities and learning Centers as the essential skills every person needs.

I would argue that critical thinking is easily the most important because if one does not critically think about something they will not be creative. Also, if they do not critically think before they begin to communicate eventually no one will listen.

Manager who has excellent communication skills can effectively and successfully represent the company in front of outside audience and major stakeholders. Manager who has good communication skills can easily interact with other colleagues, senior management and other executives of the organization.
This goal will be very valuable as these skills are important to every job. I feel that everyone should have these skills. Having good communication skills is essential for my internship as I am communicating with customers and employees every single day. If I do not have good communication skills I will not be able to perform to my best ability and help customers.
