The movie Identity gives a good example on explaining sociology disorders. In this movie it explains how a man suffers from a severe case of dissociative identity disorder. The main character is Malcolm Rivers and he has eleven different personalities. In the movie Malcolm is waiting for his execution for several murders that happened in an apartment building. Then the movie switches to ten strangers stranded in the middle of a massive rainstorm at a motel ran by Larry Washington. The strangers consist of Ed Dakota who is now a limo driver, Caroline Suzanne who is an actress from the 1980s, Officer Rhodes who is transporting convicted murderer Robert Maine, Paris who is a prostitute, Lou and Ginny Isiana who were just married, and …show more content…

Then a killer begins to murder them one at a time. Caroline the actress is the first to be murdered. Her head was found by Ed in the motels dryer. Inside with her head is a room key marked with the number ten. Ginny becomes extremely agitated and eventually goes to her room. Ginny and Lou argue while he chases after her and Lou is stabbed to death while Ginny is hiding in the bathroom. Maine breaks into a dark building realizing it is the inside of the diner back at the motel. Exd and Rhodes knock Maine out and tie him up to a post leaving Larry in charge of watching him. Eventually Larry sneaks off and Maine is killed. As all the strangers confront Larry about killing Maine, another room key marked with the number eight is found near Maines body. Everyone goes back to check Lou’s body to find a room key with the number nine near his body. The group starts to think that they are being killed one by one in a countdown. Larry then tries to escape in his truck saying he did not kill anyone and he accidentally runs over George from the york family, killing him. Ginny then believes that the bizarre deaths could be the work of some supernatural
