Breast cancer can also be treated with medication, which can be inserted orally or through the blood, Several different types of treatment that may be used are chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy and bone-directed therapy. Many women will receive more than one treatment for the cancer. Most women with Breast cancer will have some type surgery to get the tumor removed, depending on how bad their cancer is at the time. The people who help with the breast cancer removal are a Breast surgeon, which is a doctor who uses surgery to treat cancer, a radiation oncologist, which is also a doctor who uses radiation to treat cancer, and a medical oncologist, a doctor who uses chemotherapy and other medicines to treat the cancer. cancers are small cell lung cancer”.(Alvin, Virginia Silverstein, and Laura Silverstein Nunn) The second one is more common its called Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), 85% to 90% people get this type of disease. Theses different types of lung cancers have different treatments. The small cell lung cancer is mostly caused by smoking or exposure to the secondhand smoke. Smoking is clearly the strongest risk for lung cancer, but often with other factors. Smokers exposed are other known risk factors such as radon and asbestos are at an even higher risk. It is very rare for someone who has never smoked to be diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. You can treat small cell lung cancer by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. You might have other specialists on your treatment team as well. You can treat non-small cell lung cancer with the following multiple ways: surgery, radio-frequency ablation, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy, There are four main doctors that can help the non- small cells lung cancer, a thoracic surgeon, a doctor who treats disease of the lungs and chest with surgery, a radiation oncologist, a doctor who treats caner with radiation therapy, a medical oncologist, a doctor who rates cancer with medicines such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy, and a pulmonologist, a doctor who specializes in medical treatment of diseases of the lungs. “Colon cancer is cancer of the large intestine (colon), the lower part of you digestive system. Most causes of colon cancer begin as small, noncancerous (benign) clumps of cells called adenomatous time some of these polyps become colon cancer.”(Alvin, Virginia Silverstein, and Laura Silverstein Nunn) The following are some signs and symptoms for colon cancer: a change in your bowel habits, including diarrhea or constipation or can change in the consistency of your stool, that lasts longer than four weeks, rectal bleeding or blood in your stool, a persistent abdominal discomfort, such as cramps, gas, pain, a feeling that your bowel doesn't empty completely, weakness or fatigue, and unexplained weight loss. People who smoke may have an increase risk of colon cancer. Heavy uses of alcohol may increase your risk also. If your colon cancer is vert small, your doctor may recommend a minimum invasive approach to surgery such as: removing polyps during colonoscopy, your doctor may be able to remove it completely during the colonoscopy. Endoscopic mucosal resection, is removing larger polyps may remove taking a small amount of the lining of the colon in a procedure called endoscopic mucosal resection. Minimally invasive surgery, Polyps that can't be removed during colonoscopy may be removed using laparoscopic surgery. Your surgeon performs the operation through several small incisions in your abdominal wall, inserting instruments with attached cameras that display your colon on a video monitor. The surgeon may also take samples from lymph nodes in the area where the cancer is located. Some questions you should ask your doctor: “How does this affect of treatment options and long term outcome?” “Will you need other tests before you can decide on treatment?” “How much experience do you have treating this type of cancer?” “What your treatment choices are?” and if you should be thinking about genetic treatment. Brain cancer is a brain tumor, Many different types of brain tumors exist. “Some brain tumors are noncancerous (benign), and some brain tumors are cancerous (malignant). Brain tumor treatment options depend on the type of brain tumor you have, as well as its size and location.”(Alvin, Virginia Silverstein, and Laura Silverstein Nunn) Cancer can begin in other parts of your body and spread to your brain (secondary, or metastatic, brain tumors). The treatment protocols vary widely according to the location of the tumor, its size and type, your age, and any additional medical problems that you may have. Skin cancer is the disease in which the epidermis, also known as the outer layer, is infected with malignant cancer cells. The first case of skin cancer was discovered in 1804 by a French physician named Rene Lannec. There are six types. Three major types, and three minor types of skin cancer. The Major forms are basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and malignant melanoma. The three minor types are sarcoma, merkel cell carcinoma and sebaceous gland carcinoma. The signs and symptoms vary between the different types, but they all have one thing in common, changes in the skin. Changes in the skin could be a growth, a spot that appears to be a rash, or even a sore that doesn’t get any better over time, or turns into a mole.
