Ever since the beginning of time, drawing has been used as both a recreational activity and a way to “record” a beautiful piece of scenery. But over the past 100 years, it has evolved into something that is used almost on a daily basis. When most people think of drawing, they think of cartoons such as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. But what they don’t realize is that some sketches are actually very helpful in criminal cases. Some cases have actually been solved because of this key factor. When a crime is committed, and witnesses are present, they rely on a sketch artist to reconstruct the perpetrator’s face. In some cases, law enforcement is saved valuable time looking for the criminal because of this technique.
Throughout history there have been many forms, and styles of drawing. From the cavemen in the Stone Age, to the people of the Renaissance Era, art has been a major pastime. In the years of the cavemen, many rough sketches were made on the walls of caverns, and caves to depict the hunting of animals for food. Drawing and painting mainly figures and figurines in elegant, and graceful poses, they fascinated the people of their time. In the Florence and the early renaissance, we have the greatest master of art like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Sandro Botticelli and others. In this period of time the painters almost never show their emotions or feelings, they were more focused on indulging the churches and the wealthy people. In The renaissance period the art provides the work of art with ideal, intangible qualities, giving it a beauty and significance greater and more permanent than that actually found in the modern art. Florence and the early renaissance, the art become very valued where every artist was trying to create art forms consistent with the appearance of the beauty or elegance in a natural perspective. However, Renaissance art seems to focus more on the human as an individual, while Wayne White art takes a broader picture with no humans whatsoever; Wayne, modern three dimensional arts often utilizes a style of painting more abstract than Renaissance art. At this point in the semester these two aspects of abstract painting and the early renaissance artwork have significant roles in the paintings. Otherwise referred to as the Proto-renaissance, art that falls under this criterion started in a Northern closed society of the current state Italy, shortly after the twelfth century (Stokstad and Michael, 2009, p. 49). Art from this era did not originally stand for an uncultivated deviation from any other medieval art. The impact of art from this era is observed in the region it started. The opening area of Proto-renaissance art was stable enough to permit explorations in art to enhance the development of art. Proto-renaissance mainly took place in northern Italy, comprised of several small but important artistic modifications that stood for several congregating factors, and made way for early renaissance art.
When I imagine an artist, I picture a Parisian dabbing at a sprawling masterpiece between drags on a cigarette seated in an extravagantly long holder. He stands amid a motley sea of color, great splashes of vermillion and ultramarine and yellow ochre hiding the tarp on the studio floor. Somehow, not one lonely drop of paint adorns his Italian leather shoes with their pointed toes like baguettes.

I believe the artist who best exemplifies the Renaissance is Raphael. His work embodies many characteristics of the Renaissance Era like individualism, realism, anatomy, symmetry and linear perceptive. All these can be seen in his painting of Schools of Athens which is one frescoes of the Vatican Palace. It is an stunning painting representing Philosophy of that time. Raphael places the greatest thinkers, Aristotle and Plato, of Grecian time in the center making the them the focal point. The two figures perfectly centered giving the painting a symmetrical feel with even amount of figures on each side and even lighting as well. Raphael used one-point linear perceptive. All the lines are heading to the vanishing point behind the focal point that
