Skateboarding
Skateboarding is the best activity for a lot of people around the world. Why do a lot of people think skateboarding is the best activity? Everyone has different favourite activities that he or she would like to do for fun or relaxation. They can be anything such as soccer, basketball, jogging, swimming, reading, watching movies, playing the guitar, singing, dancing or drawing. It depends on each person’s personality. For me, skateboarding is one of my favourite activities. Like playing the guitar, more than a million people around the world love playing the guitar. And every guitar player has their own reasons why they like playing the guitar. And everybody has his own reason why does he or she like to do something or dedicate his life to something. There are a lot of reasons why skateboarding is the best activity, it is an art, it gives confidence and it teaches perseverance.
Skateboarding is an art.
“I consider skateboarding an art form, a lifestyle and a sport. 'Action sport' would be the least offensive categorisation.” Tony Hawk
Everyone thinks that skateboarding is a bad thing because almost every skateboarder looks like an alcoholic or addicted to drugs. So everyone thinks that we always do bad things. But that is not true. Skateboarding is an art not a crime. Skateboarding uses a lot of creativity and to do some tricks, you have to plan in your head, but think with your toes. Skateboarding is a really good way to find a job now a day because almost everything that concern skateboarding is an art and people can get a job from it. There are many kinds of jobs that have to do with skateboarding. For example, photography, graffiti, video editing, T-shirt design and a lot more.

...ot be afraid. In skateboarding, when you dedicate too much, it is not good. But sometimes it depends on your life too. Like a lot of people, they skateboard as a hobby. But some people such as Ryan Sheckler. When he was five years old, he did nothing but skateboarding, he dedicated his life to it and he just didn’t care about anything else and then today he is a pro skateboarder.

It is a sporting equipment and as such we can easily connect it with fun and competition, it also has holes drilled for the fingers, which leads to a better grip, more control. On the other hand, it is heavy, thus it is something that wants to get away from you, it is hard to hold control of it, it needs those holes drilled if we want to somewhat control it.
Even though some would consider motocross racing a hobby or a game rather then a sport because of their opinions, a person should understand that motocross racing is a sport in today's world because it contains all the elements of the definition of what a sport is and Motocross is a sport due to the fact that it requires an individual to be in top shape, both mentally and physically as defined by the word sport.

Skateboarders strive to find those skatespots because they are the best way of learning harder tricks, without driving miles to a visit a skatepark outside their city. That 's why skateboarders have a tendency to put themselves in risk of prosecution by the police just to be able to reach their goals of becoming sponsored one day. A sponsorship is when a company wants to pay you to represent their product. This isn’t an easy thing to earn, but with a lot of dedication anything can happen. A skatepark nearby will allow kids to start practicing at a young age, so one day they hav... ...
Tony Hawk has challenges and problems. He failed many contests. It made him work even harder and made him more- determined to win. Because of all his daring tricks he broke his two front teeth, his finger, and his elbow. He needed to get better because all of the things he broke. When Tony got divorced he got set back from skateboarding because the divorce took a while to go through. Because of all these challenges and problems Tony Hawk couldn’t
Skateboarding Is Not A Crime Each year hundreds of thousands of skateboarders get arrested each year for just skateboarding and about 5/6 of them didn’t commit a hurtful crime. Every day, at least one skateboarder gets arrested. Skateboarders don’t just get arrested but also get tickets, and there are a lot more tickets than there are arrests. If skateboarding was looked upon as a sport this many arrests and tickets would not occur. A group of teenagers could go out, get drunk then go rob stores and beat up people for no reason but a group of skateboarders are considered criminals.
Cascading down frozen mountain, crystallized flakes of chilling water gracing my face with it’s presence; free falling sixty feet, only to be saved by a pillow of snow: this is why I snowboard. The pure rush of adrenaline from the sport has turned what started as a backyard hobby into an Olympic event. Though you may think snowboarding is just a board strapped to your feet; the engineering and history of it have a much richer back story.
Surfing is not a sport, and no true surfer would ever claim otherwise. Yes, it requires all the essential elements of a sport; strength, discipline, balance and most of all practice but unlike a sport, surfing isn’t a competition. True, even most surfers refer to it as an “extreme sport”, but the truth is, we do so because it’s impossible to create a word that completely describes surfing. It is an experience in its own class, a spiritual conquest quest, searching for the perfect wave.
The average joe is talented in many different ways. Some sing, others dance and things that one does not imagine possible; people out there make it possible. Art is a lifestyle for many. The majority of the time art is being formed is because there is a purpose; a meaningful connection with the creator and creation. A form of psychotherapy that uses art media as its primary mode of communication defines art therapy (Nice Pictures). This is how many express themselves. They have nothing else to turn to; they turn to what they know best. It covers a variety of activities from skateboarding to graffiti to playing sports. An autistic teenager learns to
Whenever I have free time I like to ride my bike, specifically BMX. BMX to the world is an action sport such as skateboarding, although I believe it's a lifestyle not just a hobby. The stereotypes of the BMX community are very false. They believe we are wild, careless about others and their well being, and just want to destroy property. I grew up playing soccer, football, and basketball like just about any other kid my age. I played these sports until about 7-8th grade and throughout that time I could tell that these sports don't have the same kind of community
All moderately sized towns should have a skatepark for three main reasons: it will make the town look like a nice place to live, the kids in the town won’t be getting into trouble for skating around town, and it is a lot safer than skating in the streets. In countless cities around the world, well-built skateparks have also been proven to be valuable community assets with tremendous benefits. Instead of viewing skateboarding as a negative problem that needs to be solved, these forward-thinking communities have found ways to embrace these sports while showcasing their artistic and acrobatic spirit(“The Benefits”).
Playing paintball is a fun hobby. It is a great game for relinquishing stress and tension. The downside to paintball is that it is quite violent. Everyone should play paintball once in their life to fill the adrenaline rush and competitiveness of the game. Its like no other you will ever experience.
Freestyle is full of wild tricks, jumping and speed. The rider can be seen high in the air doing aerials, grinding berms, grabbing the board, jumping lumps, or riding backwards. Freestyle mimics skateboarding. Freestylers use natural obstacles to do their tricks. Riders find fallen trees, old buildings, bumps, dips and jumps where they can catch air and get their adrenaline going. They will also go to areas that have man made obstacle courses that resemble a skate park. In essence, it is a skatepark on the snow. These obstacles include ramps, jumps, and grinding bars. Freestylers also play in the halfpipe. It is a tightly packed area where dangerous tricks are performed. The rider must have great skill as they are moving extremely fast and catching major
