In ever time period there must be someone that society can be dependent on, a well liked
leader is worshiped by their followers and possess specific leadership qualities that allow them to
gain more respect. I believe that the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. and Julius Caesar
had made people respond violently and impulsively. Because both leaders served as the cause of
peace and justification for the people, influencing their country. Martin Luther king helped
African Americans obtain their rights and liberties that was their birth right. Julius Caesar helps
keep Rome in peace, but by the jealousy of such an admirable leader the assaniantion had only

Stated in the newspaper article, “The Fear and the Flames” by Jimmy Breslin he recalls, “The
day after the assassination, smoke blew with the wind and billowed low alone Fourteenth Street
as violent people rioted and he had to duck into the doorway of a smashed shoe store to breath”

servile fearfulness?” (5). This demonstrates that, Cesar needs to realize he is the same as every
other common man, if he doesn’t he will become too authoritative. This also explains that, these
men were realizing they needed to stop Cesar before he became corrupt. In journalist Jimmy
Breslin news paper article, “The Fear and the Flames” explains, "The capitol of the United
