Do you think that middle school students should have an allowance? I think that middle school students should have an allowance .It teaches students to spend their money responsibly and wisely. It is also a reward for a student, so they can buy whatever they want. It teaches students to spend their money wisely and responsibly, which will show us not to spend money on things that we don’t actually need. It also teaches us that in the real world we can’t just ask for something and expect that somebody is just going to give it to you without giving anything in return. In addition, it teaches students not to be spoiled with everything they want, because that is how it’s going to be when we get jobs. When students get an allowance,
From 2011-2017, 20.5% of children from 12 to 19 years old were obese. Supporters believe this is so because of unhealthy eating choices and not getting enough physical activity. The percentage of children with obesity in the United States has more than tripled since the 1970s. Today about one in five school children ages six through 19 have obesity. Not having recess in middle school is causing a lot less physical activity and that is causing a higher rate of obesity in America.
This will help all learn to grow and benefit in their own unique ways. Also, this will make every student wake up with a smile while commuting to school and later into their careers.
...and ultimately the development of each and every student who needs to be taught how to be productive members of society who do not have to rely on outside influence, but can be independent adults when they graduate.
Most middle students go to their locker before class, and that makes them late, but if they carry their backpacks they will be on time. The rules of a classroom are to be prepared, but kids always forget their pencil in their book bag. So having their bookbag would give the kids an advantage so they are prepared and don’t have to go to their locker just for a pencil. Even this will help them from being late because most teachers mark if the kids were late and after so many lates kids will get a detention. Even though this probably is not a good idea, most kids are responsible and get to class on time but you still should let the middle school kids carry their
Students learn if they can work in large groups or if they work better individually. They also learn what kind of learner they are when it comes to taking in information given to them by the teacher. Not every student is the same, and they learn that is it okay to be different and to be proud of the person they are. Students learn how to deal with conflicts and resolve the matter in a calm fashion.
It also teaches expressed clearly in oral and written form, to take decisions based on acquired knowledge and to use the technology, all skills that are useful in his career and beyond. Many teens are sometimes a bit lazy to last four years study, so also there is the option of studying only two years and to have some certificate in your area of
I believe that the aim of education is to create well-rounded citizens in a democratic society. This means that students are not only being taught just the academic standards by also being taught social skills. The students will be able to be a citizen that will improve their society and be a person who is diverse and who is open to the differences in people. With this comes a couple of barriers, such as the desire to learn new things in both teachers and students in the classroom is lacking and the worker-as-machine model.
Think of it as if you give a man a fish he can eat for a day, but if you teach him how to fish he can eat for a lifetime. It relates to the fact that teaching kids things that they could use for a lifetime is important. We should be investing more in our youth and shaping their way to being intelligent people. However, we should not only be investing in our youth, but also the people that educate kids, teachers. In most states teachers are paid very little in comparison to other jobs that required a college degree. When you think about it, shouldn't we be paying teachers more because they are teaching us how to be successful?
Imagine if your a kid and you want a brand new toy or a brand new phone but your parent won't get it for you? What if you got money for doing the dishes? You could save that money and buy what YOU want. Kids should get paid for doing chores.
there? Well, that wouldn’t happen anymore if you got your own allowance. I believe that children should receive a weekly allowance for completing his or her list of chores, doing extra to help around the house, and good behavior. In my opinion, children should receive an allowance for doing chores for the purpose of building financial literacy, encouraging independent thinking, and reinforcing good habits.
Education provides people with guidance and practical skills necessary in everyday life. For example, when we are purchasing something, we deal with money. Who do we owe the quick calculation we make as we pay for these items? Thanks to our first, second, and third grade teachers for teaching us to add, subtract, multiply, and divide at such a young age. The math skills we acquire at an age when we do not see the importance is something we carry with us throughout our lives. When driving a distance to visit a loved one, the street signs are very practical. What if we could not read? Thanks to our kindergarten teacher who started us off with reading the words “cat” and “dog.” Then we can thank the first grade and second grade teacher who taught us how to write sentences, for if we cannot make it to see our loved ones who live far away, we can write them a letter.
When a student is taught the topics and subjects that they will need in work later on in their life, this will make the students ready and focused as they have been taught all the necessities needed to go further with their dream
Most importantly, the student must care about their education. This, of course, is easier with the display of ownership by the parents and teachers. It is important that he or she is aware of the consequences that can occur later in life if education is taken lightly. They must also be aware of the great rewards that can be reaped by taking ownership in one’s education. With this ownership, they control their destiny positively or
My basic principle is preparing my students to face different challenges in life, particularly if they choose to contribute to lead the community where they live. For various reasons, students take my class. Often, the course is required for their major or for a job application, e.g. for those who are future high school teachers. Others take it because they are interested in some topics, e.g. students interested in world politics enroll in international relations course. Regardless of their motivation, my objective is to ensure that students acquire knowledge and set of skills that prepare them to face various challenges in their occupation.
Students need to be inspired to think critically. By this they comprehend what has been learned and be able to use it. I hope my students will be able to achieve their greatest potential that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to. We can give our children these building blocks thru education to use in decision making situations, moral value of their thoughts and actions. This will guide them to realize how their actions and decisions will affect themselves and others.
