Relate an incident from the book to something you have experienced At one point in the book Mickey and his friends play a paintball game in school and every weekend I go with all my friends and play paintball. We all have a lot of fun and use different paint balls for our favorite colors so we know who shot each other. In the book Mickey says that “We then played some dumb paintball game where two people got hurt”. You must wear your gear at all times during a paintball game. Or else something like this might happen. Another type of game that I like to play is airsoft in this game you use guns that instead of shooting paint shoot BBs. I like airsoft more than paintball because the airsoft guns look really cool and real. As Well as in this game if you don't wear the right padding then being hit will really hurt. 3. story. “There is no place more hollow, more soulless, than a school at night.
The building had been created for life, for constant motion, for students rushing back and forth, some confident, most scared, all trying to figure out their place in the world. Take that away and you might as well have a body drained of all its blood.” I think this is the most significant line in the book because it shows how lifeless a school can get at night and really sets a tone for the rest of the book during this scene. It shows how empty some people feel when they leave school and must go back home when school is the only place they feel safe. School was made for everyone to happy inside of it, empty or not sometimes the people inside feel empty. Because in some schools many kids are being bullied. Everyday another kid just wanting to have a nice day of learning can not. All because of a group of people who think they are better than everyone else. My favorite character is Mickey because after everything that happens to him throughout the book he still pushes on. His girlfriend missing. His dad dead. As Well as his mom being in rehab. He still pushes on and gets things
done. I think Never give up is an important theme in this book because Mickey could have quit his journey a long time ago. But he pushed on. Even after getting in trouble he still pushed on and never gave up. I would recommend this book to a friend because it had just about all a book for me and my friends need. Some action and some drama. Most of my friends really like books like this and i would love for them to read it.

A problem that seems to have no solution. School is a place where students can go to feel safe in an environment that is designed to help them learn and advance. Not a place where students fear going to school. “The American Association of school Psychologists reported that more than 160,000 students are absent from school daily due to the fear of being bullied” (Levine and Tamburrino, 2014). That is an incredibly high number.

Paintball is a sport that is still fairly new in the world being not much more that a decade old. This game as with other sports would not be possible without physics. Physics is essential to the game of paintball. Some of physics that are involved in paintball are pressurized gas, projectile motion, and the impulse of being hit by a paintball.
...e last line of the poem would make us think even though they are going into a newer school habitat and age, they still are growing up and they will find out things that they never knew and are able to learn more even though that there are dangers on the way. Also the line could mean that they are now leaving Mrs Tilschers Class and now their lives may become dangerous without her.
Living in Kansas is unique because there are many historical things that happened here that we don’t really notice.

School is used to teach kids many different subjects, however many children are losing their interest in it and going are going to school simply to get by and still participate in the sport that means the most to them. Many schools like the high

It is a place where they can feel protected and upheld. Sometimes the bad school performance makes the children feel that they do not belong to that world. It makes her feel that it is not able to keep up with the other colleagues. We all know how children without even knowing it can be cruel with schoolmates. Thus, a bad school performance already is reason for starting bullying against those who do not have good grades. The other children give them pejorative nicknames and isolate them from the rest of the students. This makes the school is torture for this type of student. They end up not putting up the pressure and drop out of school. Another critical point to highlight is the transition to the elementary school to middle school when the school changes the system of having only one teacher to have several teachers and rotations classrooms and colleagues. Sometimes the children do not adapt to this change and drop out of school. The type of school that the child and adolescent attending and the type of teacher they also have are crucial factors for student follows or not in school. As previously mentioned the school environment should be welcoming to the student. If the school is extremely rigid and not provide freedom for the student can feel the will to expose your ideas or even discuss (with discipline and respect) someone’s ideas in class, this school will not be a place where the student liked to spend half his day. Another important point is to have well prepared teacher. The school must have trained and motivated teachers to work. They need to be people that encourage students to develop critical thinking and to make even the most boring of subjects an attractive theme to develop in the classroom. In addition, teachers need to have the sensitivity to realize when a student is going through a period of difficulties and help you overcome
Many students don’t like school because they think it’s boring. Why do they think it is boring? Simple causes lead to many effects. However just by thinking school is boring could lead to many future problems.
...ke school something that the students can look back on and think that it was a meaningful time where they learned a lot about life instead of a time where they thought they would have a break down because they got a low score on a test. School should be a time to make mistakes in a safe environment that they can learn from, not a place that they are petrified to make a mistake for fear of retribution on their grade cards. Its time to change the school system to save future students from becoming stress crazed and to let them know that there is more to this world than a grade card and in the long run it is a very small fraction of life.
At the beginning of one’s journey of gaining more knowledge, most children don’t mind school, for it is a change of environment for them. The majority of elementary school adolescents even enjoy school to some degree. As time wears on, we usually, and sadly, begin to see a change of heart. Children become fatigued from school and therefore don’t take pleasure in going anymore. Maybe their teachers didn’t teach them in the way that they learn most efficiently, or maybe students just become bored with the whole “school scene” itself. Whatever the case, it is apparent that by the time they reach high school, their interest for learning alone has died out.
