I would have a pot luck at the local senior center to ensure that everyone was fed. I would also invest in a truck that is similar to a lunch coach however, it would be at no charge for the seniors in the community. I would first try raising money by having a can drive in the local community and therefore prepare the food for the seniors in the community. This service would be justified because food is a basic need and it is better to prepare and serve the food to the senior community than to have it go to waste. A good idea for helping feed seniors is when a person goes grocery shopping and they have a coupon for buy one and get one free to give the extra one to a food bank especially for the elderly population. This could make a real difference in the community that you live in. The potential community partnerships that I would consider would be grocery stores such as Stater Bros they are located all over Southern California and I would see if they could donate canned foods that were missing labels or maybe have a small dent in the can that are still safe to eat that would usually be marked down in a special cart. I would also contact the bakery outlet near my home to see if I could get donations or reduced cost bread
