Should scooters be allowed at the skatepark?
Scooters should not be allowed at skateparks because they are dangerous, skateparks are getting over populating and they don't invest time.
My first reason that scooters shouldn't be allowed, is that scooters are dangerous. Most scooters are younger kids. Do you see more 4 year olds running around on a skateboard or on a razor scooter? That's because you just hop and go on a scooter. They are young, lack tendency for a sustain skatepark effort (Skatepark Development Guide). They are causing accidents or jumping in the way. This means that they are dont have the right etiquette to be at the skatepark. Younger kids tend to be focused on their physical actions and are insufficiently

Scooters kids will not wait and roll whenever they want. I’ve had times where kids decide to roll as they see I’m going and it causes an accident or me jumping out of the way. This is just another example of kids causing accidents by being focused on themselves. This just proves they are very dangerous to be at the skatepark.
Another reason that scooters shouldn't be allowed at the skatepark is that the skatepark are getting overpopulated. A lot of things get more dangerous when they are busy. For example highways, streets and especially skateparks. You always hold your kids hand when they cross the street so why would you just let them free? Skateboards are like cars flying out and could hit you. The busier they get, the more dangerous.
One reason they are getting crowded because most scooters crowd a certain part of the skatepark. This creates jams and then the skatepark is stopping the flow of the skatepark. This means that it's also stopping other areas. Little kids go around it circles are just getting in the way. For example, Little timmy with endless stamina and infectious enthusiasm for his new Razor scooter, he can spend an eternity in the bowl, rolling back and forth. (Kinmonth). This makes other skaters and scooters wait as that section of the park is now unavailable to other
Should ATVs be allowed on public roads therefore creating a more convenient environment Theses: ATVs should be allowed on public roads for a more convenient environment ATVs are not allowed on public roads in Iowa for just the ordinary person we have made a small exception for farmers but should ATV be allowed on roads for everyone? Currently farmers are allowed on public roads for farm related work as in field to field transportation (Iowa house) currently we are allowing farmers on roads for more conveniences to their jobs. so why not allow anyone willing to take the steps to properly equip their ATV with blinkers, brake lights and headlights. Farmers are not required to have this equipment for the use of their ATVs on public roads yet it is still allowed. ATVs should be allowed on public roads is the driver is trained to operate the machine at high and low speeds.
During the 1950’s when skateboarding first got it’s legs it was a very popular activity to take part in during vacations to ocean side tourist attractions, or as an activity after surfing. Yet, by 1965, skateboarding had diminished in popularity completely, therefore almost every skateboard manufacturer went out of business. . During this time the only people who even wanted to skateboard were surfers who needed something to ride to practice their surfing while the waves were flat. Due to the fact that there were no skateboards being made or sold, those who wanted to skate had to take it upon them-selves to manufacture their own boards. Using any kind of scrap they could find to build a usable board out of, such as metal scrap pieces or old planks. These determined surfers had to unscrew the trucks and wheels off of roller skates and attach them to the bottom of their boards. And because these kids were from very poor families for the most part, and next to non had jobs of their own, they had to resort to taking the trucks and wheels off the roller skates secretly in the stores. Although.., the clay wheels th...
As skateboarding evolved, it was once something kids do in their free time, later became a prospering sport. This started many new changes to our local cities. “No skateboarding” signs are being posted places that skateboarders would go to practice. Architects are finding new ways to redesign structures like benches and handrails in the city, in order to lower the abundance of skateboarder in an area. All these changes have resulted in a good amount of money spent redoing everything to prevent skateboarding, but nothing is being done to give skateboarders a safe place to skate. For young teens whose only transportation is a skateboard, they can only travel so far, and skateparks are not close enough. To eliminate the amount of skateboarders in heavily populated areas, I propose that cities invest more money into building skateparks so skateboarders have a safe place to practice the sport.
Skateboarding Is Not A Crime Each year hundreds of thousands of skateboarders get arrested each year for just skateboarding and about 5/6 of them didn’t commit a hurtful crime. Every day, at least one skateboarder gets arrested. Skateboarders don’t just get arrested but also get tickets, and there are a lot more tickets than there are arrests. If skateboarding was looked upon as a sport this many arrests and tickets would not occur. A group of teenagers could go out, get drunk then go rob stores and beat up people for no reason but a group of skateboarders are considered criminals.
For many individuals, skateboarding is an exciting and fun activity to participate in. Both children and adults have incorporated the sport into their lives recreationally or as a serious lifetime occupation. There are many reasons to why skateboarding can be a positive and rewarding experience for just about anyone. However, there are many individuals that find the sport to be dangerous and argue for its ban with flimsy opinions. The city should not pass a ban against skateboarders on all public property as there is no concrete argument on why their activities are harmful to such an extent; banning the sport would not only result in outrage from the abridgement of civil liberties and be an injustice to the diversity of our country, but force
Why do we need skateparks? This has been a long running question that many of us do not really know the answer to. There is many opposing views on a skatepark and there are many views that support the cause. The main point is why they are beneficial to a community and the inhabitants alike. They bring much joy through the years for people of all ages and are a great addition for its cost. Skateparks are beneficial because they promote less crime, promote health and healthy lifestyles, and they are a great for community development.
Skateboarding was the new way and most fun way of transportation in the 1960’s. One of the reasons that I think this is because of the history of skateboarding and what the idea of skateboarding came from. I also think that skateboarding was the most fun way of transportation in the 1960’s because that was when the first major advancement to the skateboard happened. And last but not least is that the ollie was invented in the 1960’s. And by the way did you know that the brilliant idea of skateboarding is actually from the idea of surfing.
If your wheel is too big for the bearing then it would fall out alot. You have to buy the perfect size bearing to fit inside your wheels. Overall, the skateboard is hard to learn but once you get the hang of it then you would want to ride it all the time. To ride a skateboard you need all of the parts the deck, the trucks, the bearings, and the wheels.
Should Trampolines Be Banned? People have many different opinions about trampolines. Some people say they should be banned. Others say they are too much fun and they shouldn’t be banned. Trampolines should not be banned because they provide kids with exercise, you can set rules to keep yourself and others safe, and all sports have some risks involved.
The parks where I live are almost always empty because everyone is inside playing fortnite or watching Netflix. The fact that there are kids still out there skateboarding all day in the warm sun is something so rare and priceless. Shutting down all skateboarding in city parks is essentially forcing kids to stay inside the house and transfixed in some sort of technology. We need more children and individuals to be outside doing something recreational than staying inside all the time. Skateboarding is a great way of getting out in the sun doing something active.
The Merits of When You Roll with a Hoverboard Glidecraft is one of the most trusted brands in hoverboard, providing consumers with a safe and reliable product. Regardless of how well a particular item is marketed, however, consumers are constantly looking for a reason to buy them in the first place. So why in the world would you buy a self-balancing electric scooter a.k.a a hoverboard?
I’m pretty sure accidents have not only happened when people are riding a skateboard. People ride bicycles, rollerblades, and scooters and accidents happen. Is the city willing to ban all of these activities? If so the park really wouldn’t be much of a park. They would most likely lose the youth who come to the park to do these things.
That's why safety equipment is very important. There are a few safety essentials all beginners and even experts should have before they have their first wipeout. Such as a helmet. There are certain ones made just for skateboarding, and before anyone buys one they should make sure the helmet fits without being so loose it moves, or too tight it hurts their head. Also the straps at the end of the helmet should fit around the head and buckle.
This shows in the D.I.Y. (Do it yourself) approach that street skaters take. Professional street skater Sean Malto explains in the film The Motivation, “Street skating is all about finding cool spots from all around the world that just aren’t meant for skating” (Lough). This is core to the values and beliefs of street skaters. The street skater is simply not wanted on the public or private property where their environment
Amusement parks are by far one of the most thrilling places on earth. As you wait in a long line to get in park, you can hear numerous kids, adults, and tourist shouting off the top of their lungs due to a tremendous jaw-dropping drop on their beloved roller coasters.
