Hey Doug, I was wondering what your worldview is. In case you don’t know what a worldview is I will give you the definition for it. A worldview is basically how a person sees the world. Every person is entitled to have a worldview and I was wondering which was yours because everyone has a worldview whether the person knows it or not. A person might just even see the world as a happy place and that would count as a worldview because that’s how the person sees the world. Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” There are many different worldviews per person in this world.
If you still don’t know what your worldview is the most reasonable thing to do is to learn about the most influential worldviews to see if you match any of them or are

influenced by one. It is important to know where you are in a worldview because then a person might just get you influenced to do bad because according to their worldview it is okay. Colossians 2:8 “See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.” This is why we all should learn more about the different worldviews because it is an important thought a person should have in mind to know where they are. People should know where they are and how to live according to their worldview because it tells them how to live their life.
It is an important aspect of a person’s thinking process. A worldview dictates how we see the world. Psalms 5:8 “Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me.” A worldview literally dictates how a person shall live their live and will teach them to discern the good and bad according to their beliefs whether another person thinks it’s silly or plainly stupid. The important thing is to defend your faith which means giving your life to it.
In essence I am a Christian. That is my worldview. As a Christian I belief Christ is the one and only way. My beliefs may look wrong to other people or they would even question who is Christ or why go by what an old book says? The answer to why Christians belief in Christ or why we follow that old book is because we think it is right. In fact we belief that it is so right we put our whole lives in dedication to the Lord. It is not just going by what the book says, it becomes a lifestyle many people opt to go
by.
The foundation of a Christian worldview is the belief in a personal God, creator and ruler of the universe. The Christian worldview views the world through God’s word, providing the framework for humanity to live by giving meaning and purpose to life. It defines who Jesus is, human nature, and how salvation is achieved. In essence it is the basis of which Christians behave, interact, interpret life and comprehend reality. A Christian worldview imparts confidence, answers to life’s problems, and hope for the future. In this paper I will discuss the essentials of a Christian worldview and an analysis of the influences, benefits, and difficulties sustaining the Christian faith.
Christianity has grounded our lives in the living God as revealed through Jesus. This belief must be a choice people make as well as a gift we all receive within the Christian community. Christians must trust in and rely upon God as the source of everything in their lives. Faith is about believing in the trinity; God, Jesus the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit as three in one. Christians follow Jesus’ teachings and answer the call to be his disciples in the world. Christian faith is looking forward to joining God in the future and entering into the coming kingdom that God has promised His followers through Jesus. Christians join together in reflecting with each other in the Christian community about the good news of God’s love through Jesus Christ. Christians believe in the “new life in Christ,” which is the gift of God’s grace; such rebirth and personal assurance gives all new eyes to see the living truth in Scripture. The Christian worldview may differ in different denominations of Christianity but only exist because of their belief of God and Jesus.
A Christian worldview leads us to believe in moral absolutes, miracles, human dignity, and the possibility of redemption. True Christianity is more than a set of ideas used at church. Christianity, as taught in the Bible, is itself a worldview. The Bible never dis...
What is a worldview? A worldview is an idea or thought that manifest in our brain but is originated from how we perceive and feel towards events that happen during our life. The opinions we express outwardly in action disseminates to others with whom we surround ourselves with, and vise versa. Collectively we take in worldviews and judge them to our own view, and settle on a conscious agreement to what we hold to be truth.
My own definition of worldview is set of beliefs about the most important issues in life and my reaction to it. While in agreement with Jeff Baldwin’s eyeglass concept, I choose to compare my Christian worldview to an internal navigational system. When I am lost and need to be found, Christ is omnipresent. He knows my location and guides me into another direction. “It’s a roadmap, a guide for getting around in life, for interpreting reality, and for making choices” (The Importance of Worldview, 2011, p.11). Hopefully my final destination will be in the “city of gold, as clear as glass” (NLT, Revelation, 21:18).
...dea of what my worldview is. I know that my religion, family, and career choice have a huge impact on it. I can also see why my worldview, which is rooted in Christianity, is more superior to the New Age worldview that is becoming more prevalent in our world today. Lastly, by using my worldview I was able to take a concrete stance on the topic of abortion.
A worldview can be defined as a set of beliefs by which you live your life. This means that everything you say and do is defined by your worldview or set of beliefs. A biblical worldview is a God centered belief system, one where everything that you do is filtered through your belief in God and the Bible. MacCullough (2012) says, “These beliefs are the answers we hold to the basic questions
All people have a worldview that is based on personal beliefs forming their reality and what they feel is meaningful in life. I am a Christian of faith that has a biblical worldview, which is based on the word of God. The Book of Romans 1-8 provides the word of God and answers for how Christians can live a righteous life for our savior Jesus Christ.
In conclusion, my worldview encapsulates the fact that a God exists and he has created the human race in his image. Being created in his image, I am bestowed with God’s character of love, kindness, righteousness, forgiveness, and all other great attributes expressed by him. Our duty as those who claim the title “Christian” is to live with a Christ like attitude and to walk the walk instead of just talking the talk. I need to put my knowledge, talents, and skills to work for Christ till his return. The choice to live my life for him is what gives my life meaning and purpose.
Although we may not all see eye to eye, we all still have our own worldview. The central idea of a worldview is to be the different beliefs that is an understanding of how we see the world around us. It will be understood by how a person feels about different emotions and ideas that are encountered on a daily basis. A worldview is a response of our heart or inner being: our intellect, emotion and will. (Weider, Gutierrez,59) We create our own personal worldview based on things we believe are true and norms to society. A worldview perspective shapes, influences, and generally directs a person's entire life. (Samples 2007)
I believe Christianity is the only worldview that stands firmly planted when challenged. Christianity can be logically defined and explained with supporting evidence that is both visually and socially observable. Christianity properly answers all essential questions of life. The God of the Bible is a personal, loving, and creative being who has shown Himself to us through His son Jesus Christ and His creation. Is there a God?
There is always more than one side to a story; likewise, there is always more than one side to history. Worldview effects how historical events are recorded. I believe varying world views through which the history has been written has skewed the truth about the rise of Christianity and in order to deduce the closest possible truth, differing historiographies must be compared.
Faith is the act of believing (Mappes, D. A. (2010). Our mark is to love one another despite differences. Christian worldview should not be confusing to anyone that is looking for salvation and wants their live to change for good. Jesus is the only way to God. Through Jesus we can accomplish everything that is going to be for our own good. This might just be difficult to understand for a person who was never introduced to God before or who came from a different worldview. Despite this God teaches us to love one another no matter our differences. The fear of God is essential for a Christian because this will prevent him or her from harming others. You think before you speak or act. No matter how terrible someone has been with us, Christians forgive and put that person in their prayers. Christians put themselves in others shoes and just by doing this people will receive a better outcome of any situation. This is why Christianity has grown because we have been able to provide answers to questions of life and death (Verhoef, 2016). Christians follow Jesus commands. If we all base ourselves in what he wants for us, the world will be definitely a better
Good morning Brothers and Sisters! I’m excited to talk with you all about a topic that is so applicable to each of us. My talk is based on Elder Dale G. Renlund’s address “Maintaining an Eternal Perspective”. Before I go into my talk I want to pose a question that hopefully you will ponder about throughout the talk and really listen to the promptings of the Spirit, because He’s the true teacher. So the question for each of us is “How can I, as an individual, build my faith in Jesus Christ to have an eternal perspective?” Just remember that question throughout this talk.
I believe that I am created in God's image and it's my job as a Christian to take care of the earth. I believe that God is the creator of all things and everything happens through him. I believe in the Day-Age Interpretation; I believe that we can look to the Bible and modern science for information about the Earth's history. I believe that the earth has formed over billions of years and that God first created people as simple creatures and evolved them as time passed. I believe that people can have their different opinions about the creation of the earth, but everyone should believe that God was behind it all.
