My memorial represents all the pain of a lot of characters in the book Romeo and Juliet. It would be in the middle of the city, at the center of town in Verona where all the events of what happened in the book began. Each character of the book is in a brick in a staircase style memorial representing the whole of pain what Romeo and Juliet endured as well as caused scene by scene. The characters will be on each side of the memorial to show both of them on two sides. When someone goes to this memorial they should feel content and pity, content for having what they have as well as pity for all who suffered in the play for they could only imagine the dramatic horror of being born to either side Capulet or Montague then falling in love with the other side. The statute of the memorial will be marble as it represents its italian heritage, the golden ring on top will have the words “I LOVE THEE” their on top in big letters. The ring will have the signature letters of Romeo and Juliet, r and j to the left of r is a poison bottle with a skull represent death with the lion mask next to it representing the beginning of love of both of them. To the left of the ring will be a sleeping potion representing sleep of Juliet in order to reunite with Romeo and a dagger which represents death of them both in order from right to left. Capulet and Montague symbols will be on opposite sides of each representing pride of themselves with both having the other characters died both all on one side either Romeo and Juliet.
