The Revised Children’s Manifest Anxiety Scale (RCMAS-2) is a revision of the Children’s Manifest Anxiety Scale (CMAS) created by Cecil Reynolds and Bert Richmond in 1985 (Reynolds & Richmond, 2008). The RCMAS-2 includes an updated standardization sample, improved psychometrics, and broadened content (Reynolds & Richmond, 2008). Although these revisions occurred, the brevity, elementary reading level, and content-based item clusters were retained, offering an updated and effective tool for understanding and treating anxiety in school-aged children (Reynolds & Richmond, 2008).
Their satellite TV division reaches almost a million homes across Canada. Shaw Communications, with its specialization in Cable and Satellite TV, has a very solid market base in Western Canada, especially now, with the purchase of the Winnipeg –based Canwest Global franchise. This characteristic is a major competitive advantage against the other three telecom giants. Shaw has been trying very hard to expand its services into the high speed internet and wireless communications market in order to compete with the other three major Canadian telecom companies, and this pathway has seen varying degrees of success. Although this company specializes in the cable and satellite T.V sectors, it is not a big competitor in the mobile industry, where there is more money to be made. Shaw is also not at the top of the list in terms of its dividend payouts. This affects interested investors as there are other higher dividend distributers which may be more attractive. Another negative point which affected Shaw’s profits in the first quarter of 2015, was the introduction of Shomi video streaming platform, in partnership with Rogers. Shaw recorded a $13 million equity loss in the start up of this programming. Shaw has also been losing customers due to comparable products from companies such as Netflix and web sites such as
M.T Anderson’s novel Feed gives readers a representation of a future dystopian world, one in which technology is not simply around us yet embedded inside our heads. Anderson gives a warning for our own society by drawing parallels between our society and the feed. As Anderson describes, "Everything's dead. Everything's dying." (Anderson 180). In this dystopian world, the environment turns into a disaster due to how rapidly technology is advancing, and this concept can relate to our society today. Indeed, society’s life has improved over the decades due to technological advances, however, it brings more damage to the earth.

Media. The main means of mass communication regarded collectively. It comes in the form of t.v., radio, newspapers, magazines etc. The media has a way of portraying a story in a way that they want it to be seen by audiences. In other words, the media only tells us only what they want us to hear; which, may or may not be the truth or include the entire story. The media is always looking for the next best story and the competition to be the first one on the scene can be intense. A documentary by 9.14 Productions tells the story of a man and his art collection; The Barnes Foundation.
Basketball was created and has been played since December 1891 (Griffiths, 2010), it is a game of skill and talent that is enjoyed by fans all over the world. There are numerous leagues, but the two main leagues are the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the National Basketball Association (NBA). The NCAA is considered amateur where the players are not paid, and the NBA is considered professional where players make millions of dollars. In order for the NBA to get their players they draft from the NCAA, but the rules have changed several times over the years that have permitted players to enter the NBA. The current rule states that NBA players must be one year removed from high school or 19 years of age (Article X, 2008), this rule is considered by many needing the most change.

This move saved them a lot of money but did not help the morale of the company’s employees.

Adding to that, Telus should focus promoting the expansion of the internet to all Canadian provinces with the existing promotion practices with some extra additions. Currently, promotion practices are relatively stimulating, when it comes to their standard advertisements. They involve their consumer’s interests and preferences. Telus uses endearing animals to advertise their service on television, but they pick these animals with the help of customers. They hold contests online on their website that allows people to vote for their favorite animal and the animal that receives the maximum amount of the vote is put on the next Telus commercial on television. In today’s society, Technology is the main player in the way we communicate. Cell phones and social media made the communication easier for people to contact each other. It extends time less to connect between long distance friends. Also, it helps people to spread and enlarge circle of friendships around the world. However, people are losing the way of face-to-face conversation. Sherry Turkle is an expert on culture and therapy, mobile technology, social networking, and sociable robotics argued in her article “the flight from conversation” how using technology can affect our behavior in conversation.
