So, there should be an efficient and optimum use of resources with the modernised techniques that provide them competitive advantage over the competitors and make them an efficient organization.

Mission and Vision Statement of Air Canada
Air Canada’s Mission is “Connecting Canada and the World” with its vision as “Building
Loyalty through passion and innovation”
This Company made their mission statement in 2012 and according to me this mission and vision statement is good but these need loads of changes as I have read in this course mission statement should be:-
The uniqueness of the Company is by its own particular and specific language. Describes the firm’s recent business and purpose—“who we are, what we do, and why we are here.” Also: “who our customers are” and “how we will serve them”
Statement should be in the form which is describing the company’s feature and work, not on “making a profit”—earning a profit is an objective not a mission.
New Mission statement could be:-
“To be the best airlines in whole world and providing excellent customer experience in our flights with full entertainment and loads of satisfaction.”
Vision statement could be:-

Wide market - They covers a large market in whole Canada domestically and as well as they cover international market as well.
2. Share costs- Air Canada share costs as they are the member with one of the star alliances in which they can contribute to the world and share cost. WEAKNESS
1. Weather conditions- Sometimes the bad weather conditions become the huge problem for the aircrafts as they are not able to operate in bad conditions by which they get losses.
2. Maintenance cost- Maintaining the old aircrafts is the biggest weakness for the airlines as they have to spend a huge amount on their maintenance by which their additional overhead cost raises.
OPPORTUNITIES
1. Growing globally- Air Canada have the opportunity to grow globally by building their network with different countries and this relationship should be long lasting for more growth.
2. Asian Market- As more students are coming to Canada for their further studies and they have now opportunity to increase more flights to those areas so that they are never short of their flight and all people are able to book with them. THREATS
1. Global competition- As more companies are coming into this airline market so there can be a threat to Air Canada from these
