Robert is famous for such pictures as “The falling solider”, a photo of a solider being shot in battle. Robert capa was also w a very wise man who knew a lot about a lot in my opinion. My reasoning for this is because of his quotes witch are as follows: “if your pictures aren’t good enough you’re not close enough”, “I hope to stay unemployed as a war photographer till the end of my life”, “the pictures are there and you just take them”, and “it’s not enough to have talent, you also have to be

Simon Wiesenthal: The Nazi Hunter. There are many heroic individuals in history that have shown greatness during a time of suffering, as well as remorse when greatness is needed, but one individual stood out to me above them all. He served as a hero among all he knew and all who knew him. This individual, Simon Wiesenthal, deserves praise for his dedication to his heroic work tracking and prosecuting Nazi war criminals that caused thousands of Jews, Gypsies, Poles and other victims of the Holocaust to suffer and perish. The Life of a Holocaust Victim The effect the Holocaust had on Wiesenthal played a major role in the person he made himself to be.

I believe Robert held very high standards for his soldiers even though they were black. He treats them with dignity and equal respect as would be given to the soldiers who are white. He gives them a sense of humanity and dignity as if they belong there and are just as willing, competent, and capable of being good soldiers. By treating them with this respect they fight for a different reason other than because they have to, rather because they must meet the standards presented by their leader by proving they have all of these qualities. This is very important because his soldiers treat him with more respect and care for him opposed to them fearing him and not feeling any compassion toward him.
He worked as a columnist for the Cornell Daily Sun until joining the army in 1942. He was captured by the Germans in 1944 and forced to work in a factory, where he lived through the fire bombing of Dresden. This, and the suicide of his mother in 1944, were the two most influential events in his life. After the war he worked for the Chicago News Bureau and studied anthropology. He has written many novels and one short story collection.

He recreated the images of destruction and showed the cruelty used against the victims of the Holocaust, “Without passion, without haste, they [the Nazi soldiers] slaughtered their prisoners. Each one had to go up to the hole and present his neck. Babies were thrown into the air and the machine gunners used them as targets,” (4). After reading his narrative, readers could not dispute the occurrence of the Holocaust, as no one could conjure up images of such horror and evil. He described their displacement in such a way that people couldn’t even imagine, only those who had experienced it could explain the internal reasoning of the victims.

In the first category, Park examines how the Holocaust has affected not only Vladek, a first-generation survivor, but also his son Artie, a second-generation survivor. He explains how “the critical discourse focusing on trauma, postmemory, and generational transmission often aims to reevaluate the impact that the Holocaust has upon the second generation of the historical event” (Park 149).
