“Shut up Lionel!” exclaims every individual I am acquainted with whenever the name UPenn rolls off my tongue. During the turmoil that is Pretty Little Liars, I recall watching my favorite character, Spencer Hastings, receive a letter of rejection from my dream school, but my so-called obsession with the University of Pennsylvania did not end there. I get my feet from the first day I embark on my educational journey at Pennsylvania, wet. In my appointed cohort, I enroll in Wharton 101 which will introduce me to Wharton and more of myself. Moreover, through experiential learning, I will be able to successfully work in a ten person team to complete a group project, developing my critical analysis, group participation, and problem-solving skills. As National Honors Society President, I have experienced positional leadership by choosing service projects, electing new members, leading meetings, and allocating different responsibilities. Through this program, though, I will especially be able to advance my persuasive leadership skills which I will need to influence the world of business. The practical use of these skills will not just ensure that I understand them, but that I master them as well. During my eighth grade year, I went on an educational trip to France; we had been learning the French language and about the culture there. But experiencing it first hand in a place where I was forced to put my French skills to the test, shone the information through prescribed glasses. I want to enjoy the same opportunity with the Wharton International Program in which 10 days will last a lifetime. Personally, the most attractive aspect of this program is that it is available from freshman year, so I would not have to wait till my Sophomore or Junior year. I can just jump
