Do you like making your own decisions? Or would you like to be healed instantaneously when you get hurt? Throughout history, technology has advanced so much ad allowed people to learn a lot more then what they could before we had all this technology. Some of those advancements have allowed to cure diseases, promote healthier lifestyles, and even opened up more jobs. There have also been some advancements that have led to death and disaster. So the movie transcendence, is trying to show that with the use of technology anything is possible. It also shows that to much technology can make bad things happen all over the world.

They understand that one day they will die, because we are humans, and that’s just the life cycle. So they believe even though we will die technology will live on forever. Since technology is forever they are willing to give up what makes them human to help advance technology. While other people could care less about technology and the good benefits. I say this because, we as American get an inch and want a mile. Which means we are never satisfied with anything. So yes, there are going to be people who are perfectly fine with the amount of technology that we have. While others just want bigger and better things. So the problem in the movie is Will believe there should be more technology, while Max is trying to figure out if more technology is a good thing. So their point was to prove that we love technology so much that we’re blind to what really could happen. We just want more but when we get more, we wouldn’t know what to do. So they showed how it’s no way possible to have a computer with self- awareness that is beneficial to people. It also showed the struggle of not having any technology. A lot of people just carry their debt cards so when Max caused a black-out, many people didn’t have cash so they couldn’t afford anything they were all broke. It was almost like the world we lived in wasn’t the same world
