The Cold War was a big race that started after World War II between the United States and the Soviet Union . There were two powers fighting to become the dominant power. The Cold War was really complicated because of Democracy and Communism. The United States, after World War II was trying to boost the democratic idea to the world. The other dominion benefited from World War II and the Soviet Union, tried to spread communist idea throughout Europe and the rest of the world. In these three movies shows how democracy and communism affects people and the economy.

In the movie Red Dawn 1984, the plot, One September morning, in a town called Calumet in Colorado, a high-school teacher notices Russian paratroopers landing on the high school field nearby. When the teacher confronts the paratroopers, they start a heavy gun fire and the students start fleeing..A group of teenagers run up and hid in the mountains.These kids started to fight back and they begin to call themself the “wolverines”. The resistance of the Wolverines motivates the people in town to join in and help fight back.Communism and democracy has always been a problem throughout …show more content…
