Quiet leadership is already feasible, and this is what society needs (Cain, 2012). For years, people have underestimated what an introvert can truly contribute to his society. People perceive introverts as incapable, unassertive, and inferior people who are unsuited for leadership. Conversely, introverts are more than what people think. These four reasons can prove how more efficient, more capable and more innovative leaders introverts are than extroverts. First, introverts prefer less talk, but more endeavor. Second, introverts carefully analyze situations before they speak. Third, they focus and commit on priorities. Endeavor is what initiates change. A true leader must know to take action for his people, rather than keeping tattered promises. Furthermore, every word that a leader must say to his people must thought out carefully. Analyzing a situation and truly seeing the underlying problem can greatly contribute to a reliable solution. Commitment is also a factor for efficient leadership. Through focus and patience, a leader will always be unified with his people. Thinking independently can also help a leader to craft creative ideas and solutions for his people. Given these points, introverts do possess an innovative leadership. Although society has perceived introversion as a problem because people were too gregarious to realize how much introversion can bring to this world. Introverts do not need to act like extroverts in order to become that “charismatic” leader that people expect them to be; instead be an introverted leader that the people needs to see. For this reason, introversion cannot be fixed, for there is nothing wrong with it. This is a social issue that needs to be addressed. There are so many introverts all over the world that are being oppressed because of cultural bias. The same thing goes in leadership. If the countrymen truly know their leader and choses the one that is truly capable through actions and not through words, it can address a myriad of problems happening in society. Choosing the right leader can solve poverty, corruption, human-trafficking or other social issues that the government is expected to address.
