Sony has a very significant marketing leadership; It has market leadership in each country in Europe, and has very significant market leadership in continental Europe. It means Sony has a market share's any less than 70 per cent, and greater than 90 per cent in continental Europe."
Initially Sony PlayStation sales have been much stronger in Europe than those of Microsoft's Xbox, which performs better in North America and UK. The PS4 is currently the better performing console in UK with over 2 million consoles sold. While the last update for XBOX1 was around 1 million consoles sold.
