Recommended: Argument about guns and children

Bang the kid is dead and it's because the parents did not put up there gun. This is why we should not give kids guns. About 10,000 kids under the age of 14 die a year. Others might say kids need guns for self defence. It is absolutely important kids have no access to guns because, it's deadly, it could get in the wrong hands, and they are too young to risk their life.
The first reason kids should not have guns is it is harmful to kids.Others often argue kids should have guns for self defence purposes. Well if they have a gun they could hurt themselves in fear. For example a 3-year-old in Albuquerque, N.M. retrieved a gun from his pregnant mother's purse and accidentally shot his father and mother with one round. Others might say they can handle it but that's wrong. If they have guns it could be too powerful for them to handle. The author states Carrington, who serves in the Air Force, said"I personally would never give my child a fully automatic weapon," (Carcamo, p. A 10) Because they are too young to handle that. For example The accidental death of an instructor at an Arizona shooting range, killed while teaching a 9-year-old girl to fire a fully automatic Uzi, has touched off a national debate on whether children should be given access to such weapons. A.3) A lot of kids under 14 were killed because they did not know what they were doing. In summary kids are too young for guns. It is apparent that kids are too young to handle a gun. Kid should not risk their life handling guns.
In conclusion it is absolutely important kids have no access to guns because, it's deadly, it could get in the wrong hands, and they are too young to risk their life. About 10,000 kids die from a gun a year. Others might say it's for self defence but they are wrong. Keep that one kid safe and do not let him get that
