Professional attitude and fun workplace environment were provided to him. There was so much positive attitude in the workplace that kept him motivated. As a manager, he felt satisfied just by purchasing something that is worth and useful for the college. He felt that he was able to fulfill the college’s needs that were requested by the top management.

Ms. Su Ann, his top manager, had made him grow and she had always motivated him. He had been following Ms. Su Ann for at least five years now since the first day of his work. It was not easy to follow the same boss for five years as sometimes they would have changed to other departments due to conflicts that might occur. Therefore, it was quite difficult to maintain and build a close bond with one another. Besides that, Ms. Su Ann was also a good appraiser from time to time as she gave him many opportunities to learn and to improve himself.

3. How does it motivate you towards achieving organizational goals? His personal goal, which was to earn more money, was one of the reasons that motivated him to move towards the organizational goals. Thus, he kept learning and improved himself by setting an objective and trying to meet and stay aligned with company’s objectives. He would also set a personal achievement such as taking measures on the time taken to achieve his goals and how much he had improved himself throughout his work performance. In short, his personal goal, measurement of time and self-improvement had driven him towards achieving organizational goals.
