Many people have a favorite Disney princess, but Cinderella happens to be a fan favorite. Of course, their preference is based on the move itself. However, if that was the case, then shouldn’t there be another Disney princess that takes Cinderella’s place? Princess Tiana is a fan favorite. Princess Tiana should be a fan favorite due to the fact that she has a realistic goal that she worked hard for and she is very relatable. To start off, many of the Disney princesses don’t really have to work hard for their goals, except for Princess Tiana. Her goal was to open a restaurant and she made sure she put in a lot of effort to do so. According to the movie, Tiana said “The ONLY way to get what you want in this world is through hard work.” This is true in so many ways. Putting in hard work and effort really gets you far in life, as well as what you want. She is relatable because she started off from a rough background and didn’t have things granted to her. During Tiana’s childhood, she was living in poverty. A lot of people don’t have a lot of money growing up, which is why she’s relatable. It’s most likely uncommon that anyone knows someone who is treated like a maid by their evil step sisters and lives in a mansion or castle. It’s also very unusual that there are mice and birds that help make clothes for a royal ball to attend to. Clearly, Cinderella isn’t one to have a relationship with.
