Prejudice is a theme that occurs in most everybody’s lives. Prejudice is the act of someone thinking how another person thinks or acts without actually meeting that person. Sometimes the prejudice comes from them as they stereotype the people around them. A lot of the time, the strangers around them are silently judging them and the prejudice is directed towards them. Other times, however, they are merely bystanders who hear stories about people being judged around them. Prejudice is considered rude, but tends to follow human nature throughout time nonetheless. People can be jealous of those that are popular, wealthier, smarter, or better looking, along with many other things. Individuals who are jealous of ones popularity tend to stereotype them as thinking that they are better than everyone else and that everybody likes them. In reality, there are popular people that enjoy the company of anyone and everyone, and most are more down-to-earth when it comes to peers liking them. Those who are covetous towards the individuals that are wealthier than them see them as stuck-up snobs, when in reality wealthy people tend to be rational and are always willing to help others when it comes to financial problems. One who is resentful towards smarter people tend to prejudge them as a bookworm, a computer geek, and have straight A’s. There are many intelligent people that don’t like playing video games or reading, and many of the time while they get high grades, it isn’t always full A’s. People obviously despise being misjudged, and bullies like to use this despisation and intentionally call them out on it. Those who taunt wealthy people call them snobs, stuck-up, pompous, along with many other stereotypes of rich people. Bullies who have it against a good-looking person call them names along the lines of proud, conceited, and snooty. They are aware that this will annoy that person, and so they continue doing it. According to society, the most common victim of bullying are intelligent people. Intelligent people are called nerds, geeks, dorks, and many other rude names.
