My paper will show you the history of this fan loved series, and how it was made, by first going through the history of the creator and his motive for making it , second the history of the show , and last the history of the merchandise.

What this game has allowed us to do is communicate , trade and make new friends all over the world, bringing us together. In fact Pokemon a few weeks ago had their twentieth anniversary ! Pokémon Go has been the most popular game talked about since it came out in June of this past summer. The game was designed by Nintendo to get gamers outside to experience their surroundings while finding Pokémon at geo-located sites. Two profound writers shared personal outlooks on the game in articles featured in the New York Times: Room for Debate. The first article “Resisting the Call of the Virtual” written by Louv gives citations from scientific research to target his intended audience by appealing to logos. The second article “Pokemon Go Connects Us to Our Cities and Neighbors” by Jeong uses heavy amounts of pathos to hook the audience into believing her claim that the game is full of good. Jeong accomplishes her rhetorical purpose more successfully than Louv because of the commanding appeal to pathos she creates as well as her ethos supported by first-hand game and research experience.
In the Panyee Football Club movie, the boys show that they learned teamwork, one example of this: is that they build a pitch to play on by working together, another example: implies that they improve on football nicely without a coach and just themselves, and finally: they beat a team that has tons of skill. And if you want a definition of teamwork, here it is: ‘The combined action of a group of people, especially when effective and efficient.’
There's a reason why Pokemon RPG games were selling like hotcakes, and it's all about the gameplay. In Gold/Silver, the foundation from RBY games remain strong; you're still a Pokemon Trainer, dedicated to capture as much Pokemon as possible, use them in battles, and earn glory by defeating other Trainers with their Pokemon. Every species of Pokemon (there's now 251 of them) had its own strength and weakness, became stronger and acquire techniques by leveling up, may evolve through various ways, and compete in one of the most effective turn-based battle system ever created.
Baseball has homegrown roots here in America. Starting in 1839 it instantly became a phenomenon that still captures American hearts and attention spans today. The Japanese created their own league called the Nippon Professional Baseball in 1920. Though they borrowed the idea and sport, there are key differences in how the game is played on the tiny island nation. In true Japanese fashion, they took an idea making innovations and improvements to create something resembling the past but yet having differences to stand on its own.
Competitive Pokemon first started in 1996, when the game first came out. Most casual fans picked up the games and went through it, enjoying the adventure and thrill of their first Pokemon journey. However, certain players saw strategies, combinations of moves, typing, and mechanics that led to a higher level of gameplay. Eventually, different rankings for Pokemon (tiers) were set up, Ubers being the highest (Mewtwo, for example), and OU (OverUsed) for more common but powerful Pokemon, such as Alakazam or Starmie.
Baseball dates back all the way to the late 1830's. It is thought to be originated from a game called rounders. Also, there is many
Pew. Pow. Pew. Pew. The sounds blasted from my Nintendo Gameboy. I was sitting alone in my room in the darkness. The small screen of the Gameboy seemed to light up the room as I played. I was playing none-other than my favorite game of all time, Pokemon. More specifically I was playing my very first Pokemon game, Pokemon Silver. Ever since I had gotten it for Christmas I had been playing it whenever I could find the time. My mother had to rip the Gameboy out of my hands just to get me to do anything else but as soon as I did as she requested I went right back to playing.
Teamwork is one theme that was used in the novel by Stanley Yelnats and Hector Zeroni. Stanley and Zero were on a quest to find water on the big thump, and while they were there, they thought of finding the whole treasure that goes with the tube that Stanley found and gave to X-Ray. The following examples of teamwork show how they accomplished their goal. An example is when Stanley helped Zero reduce his pain or weakness by giving him something to concentrate on. While this helped Stanley
Teamwork is the combined action of a group of people, especially when effective and efficient. Any group of people could form “teams”, but when you form a group where everyone can work together and teach each other things such as self-respect and self-confidence, you have teamwork. When everyone is struggling, why not help each other out? Coach Ken Carter in demand of respect and commitment transforms a group of teenage boys into a group of young men in the movie Coach Carter. The fact that Coach Carter had transformed this group of boys is not why I enjoyed this movie. My interest moves more towards how he transformed these boys. He taught these boys to value themselves not only as a team, but also as individuals. He also taught them to look at something more than the moment at hand; and look more into the future.
Video games, specifically home consoles, came to the US on October 18th 1985. The NES. Most games around that time were all bright and cheerful looking games such as Mario, Kirby, Legend Of Zelda, and Pokemon a few years later on the Gameboy. But as other game developers appeared, new types of games were made. The shooter genre and fighting genre of games came mostly on the Xbox and PS systems with a couple exceptions being on a Nintendo console(Doom, Goldeneye, Smash bros). Now shooter games
In the last few years that technology has been taking over, people have become disconnected from nature. There are individuals who argue that the virtual game Pokemon Go does help connect individuals, especially children, to the great outdoors. They say that because it causes them to go outside and explore, it’s helping them to get out more and see mother nature’s creations. I argue that it does get kids outside more, but they are still glued to their phones. They only see the little bit of the world that shows up in the game.
The team members compete for their position as they try to establish themselves in relation to other team members and the leader, who may receive challenges from team members.
Through games we are learning how to master motivation and engagement. Games have the amazing ability to keep people engaged for a long time, build relationships and trust between people, and develop their creative potentials.
Working in teams provides an opportunity for individuals to come together and establish a rapport towards others within a group. Teamwork is classified as people with different strengths and skills who work together to achieve a common goal. When a team works well, specific objectives are fulfilled and satisfied. Teamwork plays a crucial role in implementing and fulfilling a common goal in a team project. Each member plays a role and takes on different responsibilities combined together. In different stages of teamwork, conflicts and arguments may occur for as members have different standpoints which need to be harmonized within the team. The key to having an effective teamwork is to explore each member's unique abilities to motivate them.
The advantage of playing online games is that it allows people to communicate with numerous numbers of others from different cultural backgrounds and countries. In the game, a gamer may want to exchange his item with someone else. Therefore, he/she has to negotiate with others. Repetition of this negotiation can develop a gamer’s social skills. The disadvantage of online gaming is that spending most of your free time in front of a monitor will remove teenagers from their friends and society.
