Doing her homework, she discovers that Pokémon Go is a gaming app that allows the player to go out into nature and walk around catching little creatures called Pokémon or hatching them from eggs by walking. Trying to better understand the obsession, she asks that everyone in the department download the game. Jerry accidentally downloads a virus and spends the rest of the episode without a phone; Ron Swanson refuses to use an iPhone, and thus cannot play on his flip-phone. Ben Wyatt enjoys the game, having played Pokémon games in the past, and sets out to try to convince Leslie that there are worse things. Andy, trying to understand the game, throws his phone at a squirrel and asks, “How many points is that worth”. Leslie goes through the week barely playing, but growing more and more attached until by the end of the week is no longer focused on anything but the game, shirking her duties as a councilwoman by actually playing at her desk (she of course is not alone, Councilmen Jeremy Jamm and Bill Dexhart also play and wear hats with their team symbols). Pokemon Go is a game loved by fans of all ages. Since its release, people have be out trying to “Catch ‘em All”; however, it does have its flaws. You’re walking around playing Pokemon Go when suddenly a pokemon pops up on the radar. Not having that pokemon you start walking. After minutes of searching you still haven’t found it. So you run around some more. And when you finally find that pokemon, you’re out of pokeballs. Then you are forced to run away and leave that pokemon you spent your precious

The Nuzlocke challenge was something I'd been curious about before, but I had never gotten around to attempting. Like others, I had already completed the Pokemon game once before, including many of the side quests. This time was different. Within the first few hours of playing I was thoroughly engrossed. With only three Pokemon in my retinue I became increasingly I would have to release my Pokemon if they lost a battle. My gaming style changed; despite my previous battling style of using each Pokemon until an enemy defeated them, I now switched between them frequently to stop them from fainting. Initially I spent as much as 5 to 6 hours straight on the game as my Pokemons grew stronger and I went on my missions. Every pokemon caught and trained gave me a very high marginal utility that ensured I kept playing, until I had to close the game either due to having to sleep, eat or batteries running flat. As the game progressed I got less and less satisfaction from playing the game and catching pokemons.

A trading card game have similar characteristics of many things that is applauded by people like sports and dealing with money, but not seen as a great thing one should spend their time doing. All lifestyles has their own positives and negatives. One lifestyle could be better than another, but people do better when they’re doing something they enjoy to do. The only way that work is if you do your best at whatever it is you want in life. It is good to follow your own road and not a path that is laid out for you by someone else's ideals and standards because you have your best interest in mind. Whether it is card games or anything else nothing you do should be considered a waste of time. In the end the choice is yours.
