By searching the internet, I was interested in the Supreme Court case United States v. Nixon. I chose this case because it raised the controversy of balancing the presidential privilege and the judicial review. Also, it made other branches of government reconsider the power of the president. Because of this case, Nixon, the 37th US president, had to resign from his office. Therefore, he became the only president who resigns during his term in the US history (Van Alstyne, 1974).

You don’t need to go to the gym to exercise, doing small actives such as walking somewhere sort distance instead of taking the car or even do some exercises whilst watching T.V. Exercising boost energy, reduces stress, helps you sleep better and lifts our mood. It’s important to eat regular to ensure that your body gets the required amount of energy to move. Skipping a meal doesn’t help loss weight, it means that you will be more likely to eat more during the next meal.

It is a well known fact that obesity is a leading cause of many diseases worldwide. Maintaing a healthy lifestyle can not only prevent obesity, thus avoiding these diseases - it can also cause disease to regress if stored adipose tissue is lost. Evidence supports that the physical act of exercise has a positive effect on our metal and physical well being through many different pathways and some are more clear than others. However, decreasing the world’s population of obese individuals would in turn lessen the number of people suffering from a plethora of preventable diseases and ailments. We just have to remember that if we burn what we eat we are on the pathway to a long and healthy life.

It is a well-known fact that Americans are becoming heavier and heavier each passing year. That each year more and more Americans are reaching the medical diagnosis of obese, morbidly obese, or beyond. According to the CDC two out of three American adults are overweight and at least one of those two is obese (National Institutes of Health, 2012). In fact, as you can see on the graph on page six 75% of Americans have a BMI over 25. With obesity comes a whole myriad of medical conditions that are typically avoidable had the individual of taken care of themselves. Doctors are able to fix medical problems with prescriptions and diet, but instead of medicine perhaps they should be prescribing recreation and outdoor time.
I believe that physical activity will improve one's health in two aspects – the physical state of one's body, and the mental health of the individual, both of which are crucial in maintaining the well-being of a person, and taps onto other domains mentioned in the Healthy Lifestyle Index Report (such as BMI, sleep, stress and depression).
Being physical active can help strengthen bones and muscles, which can make everyday tasks easier to perform. As stated before water can help people lose weight, but another way people can lose weight is by exercising. Exercising helps people lose weight by helping them burn the right amount of calories daily. Exercising can also help people live longer, by helping the body protect itself from many diseases. Many people use Exercise as a form of meditation, because it can be very relaxing for people. I love going to the gym after a stressful week, because strangely enough after my workout I feel more peaceful and calm.
Adding exercises into one’s daily routines can change their whole lifestyle. Many people look at exercise as being something just for people who want to lose weight or to become muscle bound, but there are a great deal of benefits that can be received from exercising regularly. Of course gaining muscle and losing fat are the two most popular reasons that usually attract people to the gym, but they make up a small part of the potential benefits that can be achieved with exercise. It is really important for obese children or adults to get some form of exercise in their lives. It can be very beneficial for them and can help prevent long term illnesses. People that exercise on a daily basis do it because it helps them feel more positive about themselves and they will be more energized, motivated and focused for the day.
