Staying healthy is the most important thing that one can do. You may be asking yourself, how can I keep myself healthy or what can one do to stay healthy. A way to maintain good health is from exercise, eating healthy foods, getting enough rest, keeping good hygiene and regular doctor’s visit. Good nutrients is a necessity to stay healthy and that can be obtained by taking multivitamins and other kinds of supplements. Taking a day off is also a great thing to do to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Maintaining good health can be done by keeping these routines up. Exercise will help to control your weight. It will also reduce the risk of cancer and diabetes. Experts recommends children and teens to get at least an hour of exercise everyday. Adults should exercise for two hours and thirty minutes weekly. Exercise does not only mean, go to the gym and work out on treadmills and such. Taking your dog for a walk, gardening, and everyday chores are considered exercise too. Daily exercise can relieve some stress because it can stimulate brain chemicals leaving you to feel more relaxed and happy. It can also boost up your self esteem and confidence because if you’re working out, your appearance would most likely improve. Another great reason for exercising is that it will boost your energy, and you will have more energy because of all the muscle you built up. Food is the number one most important thing out of everything because it’s a necessity to keep one alive. There are some substitutes that can be made to keep the body healthy. For example, instead of using the common white bread for a sandwich, try using whole grain bread. Whole wheat bread consist of nutrients that most bodies need everyday.
