Topic: The overall effect of nuclear power
Introduction:
I. Attention Getter: 30 % of nuclear generation of electricity worldwide comes from the United States.
II. Thesis: Nuclear power is a powerful and dangerous source of energy, but it depends on how people choice to use it.
III. Preview of Points: I am going to discuss the benefits for country, the affect on the citizen, and dangers that come with nuclear power.
Transition: Now after I gave you some quick information on my topic; I will now discuss the benefits for a country because of nuclear power
Body:
I. First Main Point: Nuclear power has benefits for a country.
a. Subpoint: Nuclear power have affected on the economic.
i. Yim and Li wrote in the article (2013) main points out that nuclear power technology have helped the industrial and economic development to grow. Building nuclear power plant creates jobs for people to work at. This in return increases the economics of the country. Using the

nuclear power to power towns and cities is great, because it power more building than other source.
ii. Yim and Li also said, “That nuclear power helps a country to connect to the world economic market.” The reason is for a country to have a nuclear power they need the means to create it and technology to make it work. This means country will be really to work together with another country to get money to use nuclear power. This return helps not only it on country economic market, but the world too.
b. Subpoint: Nuclear energy is a low cost energy source.
i. In the article Learning effects and the commercialization of new energy technologies Zimmerman said, “The cost of building nuclear plants would paid out in the long rule” (1982.). A city could use the energy create from these plants to power house, restaurants, and other building a lot cheaper than other ways. The amount of energy it will cost to power a whole city for a year without the power of a nuclear plant will be in the 100 million or more.
ii. Zimmerman said, “The U.S. government had been trying to turn nuclear power reactors into industry use. If the government can transforms a reactors into something that power plant or research companies it will give them endless of power to use. This will have helped them keep the cost down from cost it would cost to power these building.
Transition: This lead to the using more nuclear power technology, which will have an effect on the people around it.
II. Second main point: Nuclear power affect on the citizen near it.

Subplot: The negative effect of nuclear power to citizens.
i. In article by Aya, Evelyn J., and Fujimori said, “Mothers of young children are at high-risk for developing adverse mental health effect following a nuclear accident” (2015). The article goes on to talk about how nuclear energy can cause depressive symptom from the research down in Japan after their nuclear accident. The found that 20 % of the mother have symptom of depreciation. The research showed that the closer the woman live to the ancient the higher the chance of her having depressive symptom.
ii. Aya, Evelyn J., and Fujimori also said, “The case of depression before the nuclear accident in Fukushimam” (2015). The cases before the nuclear ancient women who had symptoms of depression was 10 %. The affect it had on the children of these women had no problem the researchers could find. There no problem when the women was giving birth.
