It’s absolutely normal to feel powerless when you encounter stress. But to think that there’s nothing you can do about it is absolutely not normal. You can avoid things from getting out of control by taking charge of your thoughts, emotions, lifestyle, and your ways of facing certain life situations. Where does stress come from? You often think that everything boils down to deadlines. If only the tick of the clock is much slower and if deadlines don’t exist, everything would be much easier. Have Some Daily Physical Activities Get yourself moving. There is power in perspiration that can defeat stress. A few push-ups, curl-ups and an hour or two of jogging can make a difference in your emotional state. Meanwhile, as you perform different types of physical activities, bad elements that are causing your stress are gradually reduced. It burns away your anger, frustration, and tension, especially at work. Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day. It is imperative that people who work in a highly stressful job or people who live in highly stressful environments learn some simple relaxation techniques in order to manage the stress in their lives. Have you found yourself overcome by stress in your life? Well there are things that you can do extraneously to relieve stress one is a hobby, others are exercise routines, become apart of self help groups or see a therapist. All of the aforementioned things can help a person take control of their life. The first course of action is to identify the causes of stress before a person can successfully learn to manage the stress that maybe consuming their every thought and being. Managing stress is essential to living a healthy life, noted clinical psychologists and lay persons alike have all loosely used the phrase “stress can kill.” The irony of that phrase is that the inability to manage stress can and does kill.
Some positive recommendations I would suggest to a friend, patient, or family member for coping with stress in a positive matter is to exercise and eat properly. Exercise does not have to be really intense. Walking, running, yoga, and weights can be sufficient by reducing one’s stress. Eating properly can also play a huge factor. It is important to be getting the nutrients one needs. It is hard at first, just like any task, but once it becomes a routine it gets slightly easier.

Environmental stress can come from anywhere, whether it’s from an overcrowded areas or something noisy that distracts you, it’s all the same type of stress that you are feeling. Stress happens to everyone at some point in their lives. My definition of stress is when one is worried about something that is bothering them, whether it is miner or major. Personally I stress about every day, financially, family, school, work, at tons more. The key is how does one actually deal with stress so it will not get out of hand? Everyone is different and some may not know how to cope with it. The actual definition according to our Life Fitness book stress is used to describe the general physical and emotional state that accompanies the stress response. There are ways to deal with stress. There are many things that happens to us when we stress. Three examples are; types of stress, common sources of stress, and how to deal with stress.
