I. Introduction a. Attention Getting Opener: There is so much going on in this world that it’s hard to focus on the important things. Most adults work full-time so most of their day is spent at work. Usually when this happens, people spend money on eating out because it’s more convenient than having to go home to make food after a long day of work. This is one of the main reasons why people have a hard time transferring to a vegan lifestyle. b.
I decided to write an editorial for the main reason to persuade people on what childhood obesity is doing to our society and all around the world. Also what my views points and opinions are on this issue. Which this is an issue that is becoming largely spread across the world and is not just a major health issue but also as a large impact on the economy. I wanted to keep this peace quite short and to the point so I decided to develop an editorial which does this nicely. This editorial is targeted to mainly parents that have children which will also have an impact on children since their parents having the correct information on this issue. Throughout this editorial I’m communicating the idea that childhood obesity needs to stop and is an issue which is growing and needs to be dealt with because of the futures generations health.
I. Introduction: You’ve probably heard it a million times that obesity is an issue on the rise in America. Well, why if everyone knows that it is a problem is nothing being done to fix it? I’m here to propose a solution to this problem affecting over a third of the adult American Population.
II. Transition to Main Point 1: I’m sure you all have heard of organic food but may not know exactly what it is or what makes it organic.
1. According to the "Nutritional Facts" that are posted on McDonald's web site, one Big Mac contains 540 calories and 29 grams of fat, which is 45 percent of the national recommended daily value based on a 2,000-calorie diet, according to McDonald's. One large order of fries contains 500 calories and 25 grams of fat, which is 38 percent of the recommended daily value. The 32-ounce Coca-Cola Classic adds another 310 calories (Ali, Sam).
Summer has come to an end and school back in full swing. One is ready to crush the challenges facing a 5th grader. The last bell for recess sounds. Young boys race outside to enjoy the sun’s warmth. Eating enough of a certain nutrient, you can boost and strengthen these parts, and if you don’t get enough, you can start damaging your body. The most obvious example is calcium.
