Sleep, something I am great at and can find myself doing all day. It was late before my research essay proposal was due and I had just woken up from a nap. The thought came to me instantly and so I began my essay on sleep. My topic was not on sleep itself but it was the effects of lack sleep because in middle school and elementary school, I always found myself being tired and class and blaming it on school starting too early. I wanted to get across a point on what the effects were if I didn’t get the proper 8 hours asleep a night because I would constantly get preached to about how important it is. I was able to do this because I am in statistics class and we focused on significant data for a whole unit, so I was able to understand what the data had meant in the articles. After, I would read the analysis to see the conclusion of the authors and determine whether or not I should use the data in my research essay.
