Over Dramatic People
If I could give advice to anybody it would be over dramatic people. It can cause big problems. For example, let's say you're talking to your friend saying that a guy from a different school named John is mean, but then your friend John from your school overhears. Then say he goes out and tells all of the people that you were talking bad about them and then they tell the teacher. Then the teacher gets you in trouble when that one person that started all of this had nothing to do with it.
It could also make somebody lose friends. For example, somebody is making fun of you calling you dumb and annoying. Then another person walks in the gym and hears the person getting made fun of says don't talk to me your mean. Then the person who was making fun of the other person runs out of the room crying, telling everyone that the other person walked up to them and said don't talk to me your mean. Then people go and tell the teacher while this one person is making it seem like they got yelled at for nothing. Then the teacher gets the student in trouble and the students really didn't do anything. So then that person has to face the consequences for standing up for themselves. That would be completely unfair.

If something doesn't go your way you would act like it’s the end of the world. That could make people not want to be your project partner because they might think that if they mess up you will pitch a fit and end up not helping. It can cause you to handle situations incorrectly. Let's say you're over dramatic friend gets into an argument with you. Then you apologize and say that you are sorry. They say ok and that they are sorry too. Then they still go off and tell people and teachers just to have some drama that wasn't even
Where are you going? Romeo, your foolishness will kill you and Juliet. It is not a rational idea to rush back to Verona this instance. I am your ghost from only a few hours into the future. You are not thinking straight Romeo; however, I know how to fix this. I know exactly how to avoid this situation unless you would rather watch your poor Juliet kill herself over your death.
Christopher McCandless’ long, fascinating, but an ultimately fatal journey into the wilderness of Alaska is depicted in the biography, Into the Wild, written by Jon Krakauer. Late in the of summer of 1990, a very young Christopher McCandless left his ordinary world in Annandale, Virginia to pursue a solitary life in the untamed wilds of Alaska. Many will insinuate that Christopher McCandless’ actions were childish and idiotic, but a stronger argument would be that his unconventional thinking and desire to live life on his own terms allowed him to reach self-actualization.
One behavior that I tend to exhibit is stress. I often worry about things, like the future, and anticipate on this going wrong often. “You think about how your choices and their consequences could affect you down the road.” (“My Virtual Life” Emerging Adulthood) “You’ve thought about the future some, and will probably be feeling worried the more you think about it.” (“My Virtual Life” Emerging Adulthood) I need to relax a little about things, and let life happen as it does. The majority of things that I worry about are beyond my control. This might serve as obstacles later in life because stress can lead to health problems. A lifetime of stress can hurt your heart and blood pressure, along with other things.
...ularity and the chance of being kicked out of the group, or stand idly and let the other friend be bullied. This is a real world experience that happens to many people. Sometimes it causes people to even take their own lives.
Have you ever wondered how some athletes have gotten so good at a certain sport? Have you ever thought about what they did in order for them to get this good? For some the answer is simple; workout and train. But for others the answer is different; the use of performance enhancing drugs such as steroids. There are some people that argue that steroids should be legalized and allowed in professional sports. Other people argue that steroids should not be allowed. Today I am going to state my opinion and justify my reason. Steroids should not be allowed in professional sports because it can be very dangerous to the athlete’s health, it is a way to gain and un-fair advantage and it can be dangerous in both social and physical aspects.
I am adventurous. No I don't sky dive, wrestle crocodiles, or swim with sharks, but when asked by a group of friends to go cliff diving last summer, my best response was, “Sounds like fun!” I had never been afraid of heights yet have never experienced the thrill of cliff diving. All I could ask myself was, “What could go wrong?”
This would obviously affect children or teens with disabilities, despite the fact that schools are supposed to be a safe place for young students. Part of a teacher’s job is to help any student when they need it, especially considering they see the student approximately seven hours a day, five days a week. Despite this, “A quarter of young disabled people report feeling discriminated against in school...34% felt they did not get the help and support they needed from teachers and other staff” (Curtis). Students with disabilities do have certain differences from other students and in turn may be more difficult to deal with but, “More than a third (38%) said they had been bullied because of their disabilities, with one in 20 saying their bullies had been teachers” (Curtis). Bullies have to find something different about a person to have a reason to discriminate against them, and people with disabilities have that different quality. The bully may use this disability against the person because stigmas in our society have taught them it’s okay to discriminate against the disabled. Some people don’t experience this bullying, but they still may not get equal or appropriate treatment. Nathan Liu again spoke about his time in school saying, “My teachers acted super antsy around me…[they] didn’t know how to act around me...disabled kids were the ones who got hidden away in ‘special’ classrooms. They
Many people in our world believe that they have the authority to determine someone else 's worth. In our society, people are being called degrading and horrible things constantly. This is known as bullying. Bullying is defined as unwanted or aggressive behavior towards an individual that is usually repeated over time. The way someone views themselves is important to their character and way of life. If a person is constantly told that they are "ugly" or "worth nothing", it might shape them into what they see in the mirror on a daily basis. Dark thoughts that result from bullying can lead to a dark way of life and even suicidal thoughts. Bullying should be a crime because it can lead to depression and suicide in some cases.
...ch then conflicts can get out of hand, and if bystanders don’t speak up and take a stand then bullying will still continue to dominate over innocent children. You don’t need to be a highly educated person to know that bullying is wrong and stand up, all you need is a heart and a sense of humanity.
In the aftermath of World War II, countless cases of Nazi war crimes were exposed and confronted by the Allied powers. In particular, the astounding death toll as a result of human experimentation was put under special scrutiny. During the famed Nuremberg trials in 1946, the American judges conducted a separate proceeding, referred to as the “Doctor’s Trial,” in which 23 German physicians and administrators were tried under accusations of the murder and torture of multitudinous concentration camp inmates. These proceedings invoked many questions in regards to rightly handling human experimentation, and they were answered with the resulting Nuremberg code, which provided several guidelines for acceptable and ethical human experimentation. However,
Put yourself in this situation, and think about this hard. You see a kid at school being bullied and another kid stealing from him. You can either choose to do the right thing and tell an adult. Or do the wrong thing and stand by laughing and video taping. I would hope you would go tell an adult. When we were younger,, the golden rule was “Treat others the way you wanted to be treated” and if you stole from someone, or lied to them. You wouldn’t want someone to lie/steal from you correct? Some people might lie, steal, and disobey you. But most people do the right thing and not do that. And they are honest.. Just like stories/poems/short stories etc. are about mostly doing the right thing. Just like in “The Road Not Taken” (Robert frost),
I should receive a passing grade in this class because I can write now. Not just an exaggeration, but after another semester of English I finally feel confident that can write. Three of the reasons behind my confidence is I learned, I experienced and best of all I repeated. These three values helped prepare me for what is in store in English 1302 and here is why.
Truly this is exactly why there is so much hate in this world. Every single person on this earth is "damaged" and every single damaged person fails to realize that they are not alone. This world consists of large masses of bodies lashing out at everyone around them. Many lashing out of fear that their trauma will repeat itself if they don 't hold up this fierce barrier between them and the rest of the world. This tends to create these large balls of negative energy fueled by anger, pain, sadness, fear, jealousy, and ultimately... hate. Eventually that energy will come crashing down. I 've said for several years now that we will be the one 's to end our entire world. We will, at some point, be the reason that the human
Many people would voice that bullying is, in fact wrong. Calling someone out of their name, and abusing them physically, doesn’t actually improve yourself. It does make the bully feel wonderful for a short amount of time, hurting someone else ' 'helps them deal ' ' with what 's going on in their own lives. Since we now have the Internet, more and more people are getting bullied even after school. Cyberbullying includes things as: inappropriate pictures, and posting nasty things about people. The major effect of bullying, is after the bully has gained ego points, the victim is left changed. Cyberbullying is the start of a new type of bullying.
Many don’t realize that the road to success isn’t so much a road as it is a winding,
