“Many friends in your life will come and go but only the truly special ones will stay to thee end of time” - anonymous. This quote is very special since it tells you that many will leave but you will know who the true ones are . The definition of a true friendship i believe is that all should equally trust , love , and care for one another. In the Tv show Pretty Little Liars, for example , four teenage girls mourn the death of their friend ,Alison , while an Anonymous Person is sending them death threats. The four girls learn that the only way to stay alive is by sticking together , caring for one another and trusting no one but each other. In the end, they learn the powerful force of a true friendship. There is also a news article about
The Quote ‘’ Your truest friends are the ones who will stand by you in your darkest moments; because they are willing to be brave the shadows with you, and in your greatest moments they’re not afraid to let you shine’’. To me this quote means you know who your true friends are because through the trials tribulations and darkest points they will show you light and be by your side. When greatness strikes they will be there to cheer you on and be happy for your successes. I agree with this quote because a friend is someone who is supposed to be there for you even when everyone else isn’t, someone you tell everything to and trust because friendship is something sacred finding a good genuine friend is hard to fine but once you do the support that was mentioned in the quote is natural. The two parts of literature that connect to the quote would be of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck and The Freedom Writers by Erin Gruwell. The literary elements
The jury was locked in the room to deliberate because they don't want them to leave until they have come to a decision. If the jury was allowed to leave, they might just go when they want and not return. Also, the accused could try to come in to convince the jury that he is innocent.
Friendship is truly what separates us from the animals. Each true friend you find is truly a blessing and should be treated as such. Although we lived in different environments the boys from The Pact and I have learned and cherished this life lesson. Through tight friendship and perseverance one can achieve anything they set out to in life. Hopefully, my friends and I can take the examples set forth in The Pact and follow them all the way to success in our respective lives.
The film Holes proves in many circumstances that friendship is essential and can get you
We see this with Owen Meany when John tells us that Owen “gave me more than he ever took from me” (A Prayer for Owen Meany 2.509-511). Even with the death of John’s mother at the hands of Owen these too prove to be the best of friends. A friend is someone who is “A positive influence on your life” (What is Friendship? Friendship.about.com), this friendship proves this theory by the boys helping John finding his identity and Owen’s destiny. Along with friendship in the novel we see the importance of family and the role that it plays throughout the novel.
I’ve learned how a lie can get so far from just reading a book, “Pretty Little Liars.” A very interesting book, if you love mystery and secrets. What I can remember is that it’s a book of five girls that gossip and lie like any other girl, except one day one of them goes missing and then all of sudden their lies and secrets are spread out. Lying can go so far, lying can lead to so many problems or even more lies. While lies can lead to people not having trust in you or even leads to loosing respect to a person.
The first aphorism which I would like to discuss is, "'Stay' is a very common word in a friend's vocabulary," by Bronson Allcott. This aphorism is one that I definitely agree with. You don't want friends who aren't going to be there for you at times when you need them the most. You want friends who stay with you and won't leave you alone, no matter what the circumstances are. Even if you and your friend get into a fight, you never want your friend to leave you forever, even if what they did to you was really wrong. They'll always be your friend no matter what and you and that person need to realize that and stick together.
Lying is intentionally misleading a single person or group of people with a deceptive statement or action. “The moral question of whether you are lying or not is not settle by established by establishing the truth or falsity of what you say. In order to settle this question, we must know whether you intend your statement to mislead.(Chapter 1 pg. 6) When it comes down to trying to decide whether you should justify or reject a lie there are several steps you should take. You need to be able to defend your arguments for your lie in a public setting against an audience or your peers, or what Bok considers “reasonable persons”. You cannot just be able to justify your lie to yourself because then it is automatically invalid. As humans we tend to
We see conflicts everyday, either in a show or movie which may affect how we create and deal with conflicts. Society now gets influenced by social media for everything, from the way we should act to the way we look or dress. People copy what they see on Tv, and start acting like their favourite actors and actresses.
What is your definition of a true friend? Well, to me, a true friend is someone who understands you, accepts you for who you are, and is willing to do anything for you. While reading John Steinbeck’s classic, Of Mice and Men, George and Lennie maintain a true friendship despite all the ups and downs they encounter. After Lennie Small, a man as gigantic as a mammoth with a pea-sized brain, is caught touching a girl’s dress in the town of Weed, he and his best friend, an average migrant worker, George Milton, travel a strenuous journey to the town of Soledad and start working on a ranch. The young men come to realize that they have a true, brotherly bond and nothing can separate them.
In life people communicate every day through many types of responses and behaviors. There are plenty examples that have been expressed over time by people trying to explain these communicative behavior and analyze them in different ways.
Although there are many definitions of a friend, one knows the true meaning of friendship if they have ever had a friend. Friends often come and go but true friends always stay. Many people learn from their friends and often ask the advice of their buddy. Having a good friend can usually brighten a bad day, and make one smile since that is what friends are for.
Friendship is the most wonderful relationship that anyone can have. Ideally a friend is a person who offers love and respect and will never leave or betray us. Friends can tell harsh truths when they must be told. There are four different types of friends: True friends, Convenient friends, Special interest friends, and historical friends. To have friendship is to have comfort. In times of crisis and depression, a friend is there to calm us and to help lift up our spirits.
Friendship is a relationship that all the individuals can create by themselves. Though it is not a god gifted relationship like that of the relationship of a mother, father, sister, brother or any of the other family but still it is one of the best relations an individual can possess. People who have true friends consider themselves as the luckiest individuals on earth.
Winning was always a must for me, it wasn’t that I needed to better but that I had to be better. But sometimes, I’m about to achieve something extraordinary and then I fail. (MC)(Round)
