Off campus lunch
We should have off campus lunch because none of the other students want to waste any school money on their ID. The subject chose I will be discussing is off campus lunch. The issue chose is relevant because other students will have to eat the same thing everyday. The purpose or reason why I chose to discuss this topic is because the students don't want to have the same food everyday. I am credible speaker because of how this affects me. This issue affects me because I don’t want to have the same food every day, and there is a mall next to our school and we could get our favorite food there and we could just walk there. No other students does not want to eat school lunch because they want fast food soda or juice and they can walk with their friends and they can hang out with their friends.

Students shouldn’t eat the same food over and over.
The students at this school they don’t want to eat the same food every day and they something that is good and not something that is bad. According to www.Teacherhub.com, the texts states that “That each students don’t want to have the same food everyday. The students will always complain to themselves that they don’t want to eat school lunch anymore when it's there period they will always call there parents and ask them if they can get some fast food. Students has no choice to pick there own food, when the mall opens they pick what food they want and not have to eat school lunch anymore.
Students can have a choice of meals. Students loves to eat fast food because the students loves to eat all kind of fast food like Panda Express or Subway. and the students loves to eat fast food and not school lunch. Students should go the mall and have their own food and not have to pick what they have on the counter. Students should go off campus to get their favorite food from their favorite food restaurant and go eat their with there friends and tell them all about it how this food is so
good. Even though that students have their own choice of food and not have the same thing, I believe that students should go the mall and pick up their own food because students will always complain about the food we have at our school. www.Teacherhub.com, the text states,’”That students should have their lunch time to get their favorite at the mall next store across of the field. The evidence supports the reason because students will always complain to their teachers because in their mind they are thinking that they don’t want to eat the same food again. Students should have their free time at lunch and not eat the same food and not walk around the campus a billion times and they don’t want to play basketball or volleyball because they think it is so boring and not go to the mall and play some video games at the mall and here is an example when kids think that basketball or volleyball is boring by they want to do something that is fun like going to Gamestop and buy new games for your xbox 1 or for your xbox 360. When lunch comes the students should go to the mall and have their favorite food and there friends will go with that friend and that friend is going to eat there is going to tell their friends all about it. Students should go to their favorite food place and when they hear the bell ringing they should come back to school and if they don’t they don’t get to go back to eat their favorite lunch and they will have to eat school lunch for now one. Students should not have any complaining to their teachers or there VP. Students should be on their best behavior and when the mall opens if they get any more than 3 detentions they will have to eat school lunch for the rest of their lives.
Schools with enormous food courts where students can buy meals and drinks from commonly known franchises, such as McDonalds and Coca-Cola, are the schools with the most health problems. Fast-food franchises are showing up everywhere, but do these businesses belong in high schools? No! Schools are here to enlighten students for life after school. If high schools promote bad eating habits by placing fast-food franchises in their cafeterias, then how can students eat right and healthy beyond high school.
Having different food can affect a child health. There are milky ways, cake, cookies, pizza and lets just add some French fries in there and call that lunch. Don’t forget the drink sweet tea, pop and milk that one doesn’t choose to drink it. The students would go back to the class rooms after twenty minutes and be hungry at the end of the da. Garland said, “Instead, we allow school cafeterias to dispense the same junk food that kids could buy in any mall” (621). There has been so much junk food and soft drinks in schools that makes the student health unsafe and a distraction to their education. Garland mentioned that the students are filling up with fat, salt and sugar rather than filling up with fruit, whole grains and vegetables. Schools should be about healthiness, and well balanced diets. With having Students eat healthy can boost up their energy and ability to learn. With that being said when I was in high school it was nothing but junk food for three years. When Michele Obama changed the law on the school lunches my senior lunches have changed. It was nothing but healthy food like whole grain, no sweets, two scoops of fruits and vegetables. At Odessa they had a school store loaded with junk food that would be sold out by forth period. When the law came to the school there was nothing but baked chip and replaced with other baked nutrition food or we had nothing at all. The drink machines were changed out
When you walk into the student union or the Keathly University Center some of the first things to catch your eye will be Panda Express, Chik Fil A and a few other chain restaurants as long with many small stores with and endless supply of snacks. These are the choices allowed to the students on campus. Where many live on campus and do not have transportation, or they do not have the financial support to go out, so they are forced to dine on campus. While it is any kids dream to have a famous chain restaurant like McDonald’s in their backyard the practicality of such is slim to none, but with the advances society has made it is not only a possibility but a way of life on a college campus. An alternative to these food choices should be available for students. Fast food is not healthy food and right now our health is a big factor in our grades. If you want to be successful in school than you have to make sure all other aspects of your life are also in order, your health being one of the most important. According to the Huffington Post they do not have enough healthy choices for us to choose from. If you give an eighteen year old the option to choose between a ...
Opponent argue that some student can take advantage of open school lunch and break rules. The action of the few cannot invoke the right of the many. In this society we value fairness as a virtue. Do we as good citizen of this great country, allow fairness to fade? I want you to weigh open campus on one hand vs closed campus on another. On one hand, Alex get to refresh his mind when he went to a nearby restaurant and the other Henry tired from school have to go to the cafeteria. On one hand Alex get to choose what he thinks is best for him. On the other Henry have to eat processed food from a factory, we don’t know about. Alex fully satisfied paid his meal to help his local business. Henry returned to class after done eating, mersible, hungry, and tired. Alex give full attention to the teacher, while Henry suffered from a food bug and have to miss school. Alex action is illegal, while Henry action is legal. How so? Like it or not, open campus is proven to improve our student performance. Like it or not, all the student here will agree to pursuit open campus lunch. The opponent to open campus said that caution for student diet is more important than student freedom. The opponent
I don't think our school lunch is healthy because it has fat and too much sodium. Although it is good it is fattening it is the reason for much of the obesity in the U.S. Many kids have no other option to eat the unhealthy school lunches or they will be hungry.

The intake of proper nutrients helps balance the maintenance of bodily functions; supporting the longevity of a healthy lifestyle. (Denton, Carolyn. “How does food Impact Health?” www.takingcharge.csh.umn.edu). With constant technological advance in the world, it is important to become aware of how frequent the world changes daily in preparation for self-maturity. What is a more effective way to approach the real world than to have a direct experience? The researcher will address the topic on why community high schools in America should allow its students off campus during lunch. Lunch is one of the most important meals of the day and is consumed mostly in school cafeterias for children and adolescence. Wholesome lunches are vital in maintaining a healthy metabolism and give children energy for the rest of the school day. Children are advised to eat healthily but do not always do so because the choices of tastier, fatty foods offered in school cafeterias. The National School Lunch Program, NSLP, which is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools set nutritious guidelines for lunches served in school cafeterias (USDA). However, school campuses still offer foods high in fat as well as selling candy, chips, and soda in their vending machines, as well as their school shops. In order
Eating a reasonable breakfast is good for your health. Many studies show this. “Individuals who consume breakfast also have total daily intakes lower in fat and higher in carbohydrates than those of breakfast-skippers.” (Nicklas, 2003). This quote supports the idea that eating breakfast is healthy for you by explaining how eating breakfast will help people to make better food choices throughout the day. If people eat breakfast, they will more than likely be healthier throughout the day. Another quote that supports this main idea is, “A new study shows teens who have breakfast are more likely to have overall better nutrition--a diet that includes at least two-thirds of the recommended dietary allowances (RDA) of vitamins and minerals--than non-breakfasting
More than 30 million children trundle through school cafeteria lines and 24% of children leave their food untouched. If 24% of students leave their food untouched, this is a waste of perfectly good food. They leave their food untouched because they just don’t like the food that they are given, but they are forced to get it because they have no other choice other than that specific type of food. If students could choose the type of food that they want by leaving campus and going to their favorite restaurant, it could benefit students tremendously. Although having an open campus at lunch may lead to skipping school or other delinquent activities, high schools should have an open campus because it benefits students by it giving students a way
Students at Norwalk High School are not eating enough healthy foods. Norwalk high school needs to adopt a food court system. Why, we already have a cafeteria? A food court of judges like from the judiciary system with black robes and white powdered wigs. The people of the court will judge you on your decision of how you are going to eat based on what meal you get. They can implement this by educating the lunch employees from the cooking class teachers in the high school about healthy nutrition. With the general student population the lunch employees can educate them when they go through the line of the cafeteria, and through signs and posters. This is necessary because in high school home tech where you learn about food nutrition is not mandatory.
Students don’t need to eat school lunch student’s should be allowed to leave campus to go eat lunch the school says they serve healthy food but yet they serve us processed meat. when you tear the chicken at lunch and it don’t shred compared to real chicken ,when chicken is suppose to taste like chicken and it don’t.

With the development of education and the expansion of the college, an increasing number of colleges have their own campus cafeteria. Although it’s a good deed for college to develop campus culture and increase economic benefits, at the same time it also exposes some problems. Sometimes some campus cafeterias ignore whether the food is healthy and nutritional for students. At the OU campus cafeterias, there are just a few healthy food could be chosen, and the types of vegetables and fruits are too few. However, there are a lot of junk food at our campus cafeteria, like fires, hamburgers, and some roast meat. These foods have a few nutrients, nevertheless, their sugar and fat content is too high, and easily lead to obesity. If students always
