I wanted to play sports all my life for my school but I never could because I loved school but I always had problems with my classes. Classes were difficult for me so I never got to play. The coaches wanted me to play because when it came down to sports they thought I was a excellent player. I believe that a student shouldn't have to be on the honor roll to play sports because it's just a sport it made to have fun, your not getting paid to keep up your grades last but not least you never know what a student is going through so you don't know if they can keep up being on the honor roll. First because it’s a sport and I like no student should have to keep their grades straight for a sport they're doing for fun. Sports aren't all about having excellent grades it's about going on the field and having fun. Plus you never know what that person is going through. They could be going through something that nobody knows of and can't really focus on school like other students. It would be a little unrealistic to expect all athletes to be on the honor role.Different people have …show more content…

Person wouldn't be able to focus in school like if there mom and dad was sick and that person would have to pay the bills to keep their family straight or if their not good at a subject and they can't focus but they're good at the sport they play and want to keep playing that sport but they can't keep up on their grades it wouldn't be fair because sport aren't just about having your grades up the like struggling or be the one paying their bills because their mom or dad sick or not there so that student really couldn't focus on school work. That's not fair for others who grades are good but they are not on honor roll because they are just not their. Also people also want to be on honor roll anyway so it doesn't really matter anyway. If a coach old me that I had to I would still try but it wouldn't be
