“The computer was born to solve problems that did not exist before.” This was stated by Bill Gates, who is considered a brilliant man and the creator of the Windows operating system. Some say that he uncovered the internet and blessed mankind with the powers that most have at our fingertips today. In my lifetime, I have discovered for some individuals computers were created to solve problems, which is easy for Bill Gates to say since his skills are a natural ability. For other individuals I have discovered that all computers do is cause hardships and stress. Regardless of the generation gaps, the attitudes of the individuals can cause a great impact on their abilities learned and what computers they have at home.

For some of the older generations of people everything that happens on a monitor is a foreign picture. An older person, or middle age person, may need help with figuring out how to search on their brand new computer. The name of this computer user is the Clueless. The other types of users feel sorry for the Clueless because it is very difficult to teach them anything that has to do with the chunk of metal/plastic sitting in front of them. A desktop is just simply a large paper weight when it comes to usage. The temper of the Clueless class can be short or it can be nonexistent. This group is very diverse for some individuals cannot understand why certain things have to be done in a certain way and become angry quickly. Their are some that often think it is funny when others are trying to help. This causes the ones trying to help to get frustrated and loses hope in the individual. The last thing about the Clueless is that many people take advantage of them. If they are the older generation then they are going to be asking many questions when purchasing a computer. They also may have more money than they know what to do with if they are retired.
