How to Change a Tire
If you find yourself in a situation that requires you to change a tire, then you should refer to this simple nine step guide. Imagine you’re driving down the road and you hear a loud popping noise followed by a slight loss of control of your vehicle. You know in the back of your mind that you’ve blown a tire, but you don’t want to admit it, you’re in denial. You pull over the car and check your tires, you see the flat tire on the driver side of your car right away, your mind spirals into panic. Your palms are sweaty and you’re too embarrassed to ask for help, you don’t know what to do. Then you pull out your phone and Google How to Change a Tire, the first result is from Sean Classen, the world renowned how to writer. After thoroughly reading through the guide you know that you’re set, and confident.

With all the lug nuts removed you need to pull the tire towards yourself slowly until it’s no longer connected to the lug nut posts, then place the tire on the ground. Then grab the spare and align it with the lug nut posts and push it in as far as it will go. Once the spare is in place you should grab the lug nuts you’ve put aside and screw them in with your fingers so that they’re only slightly in the lug nut posts, but not completely screwed in. Crank the lever downwards so that the car is no longer resting on the jack and is completely independant. As the distristed driver finished putting in the last lug nut he ponders on how easy changing a tire really is, you just need someone to show you how to go about doing it. Completing this task will look like a fully intact, and functional tire. This driver is now prepared to not only change their own tire, but help others that are in
Mattie, the sole owner of a shop named "Jesus is Lord Used Tires", was accustomed to changing and rotating tires everyday. One day she received a customer who had driven over some cracked glass pieces on the side of the road. Mattie took standard procedures by lifting the car, taking out the tire, and finally dipping it to see if air bubbles would come up. "I'm sorry to tell you, hon, these are bad. I can tell you right now these aren't going to hold a patch. They're shot through." (page 40). Mattie was exceptionally nice to Taylor and told her to come inside and have some coffee. After drinking a cup of coffee and giving Turtle some juice Mattie came up with the idea that Taylor could work for her. Taylor being the one who doesn't like tires in the first place accepted the generous offer, but went almost nuts with the huge tire wall that surrounded her. Taylor was a good worker and didn't have any real complaints about her position, but she still had a fear of exploding tires. This fear was noticeable to Mattie. Mattie being the rough-tough but nice person, asked Taylor nicely to follow her, when suddenly Mattie threw a 5-gallon Jerry can at her. "Knocked the wind out of you, but it didn't kill you, right?" "That's twenty-eight pounds of water. Twenty-eight pounds of air is about what you put into a tire. When it hits you, that's what it feels like." (page 81).
Tires are thrown from tires because the centrifugal force expels snow, rocks, and other foreign objects.

they are not really round. There is a flat spot on the bottom where the tire meets the road. This flat spot is called the contact patch. This helps the tire have more space on the ground so that the square inch area touching the ground is higher. By doing this, You don't need as much pressure in the tire. Tires usually only need 30 pounds per square inch. You can figure out how much four tires can hold by adding the square inches touching the ground and multiplying it by four (all tires). Then you must add in the area pressure of all the tires. You find this by finding the area of the tire in square inches and multiplying that by 30.
Life on the Road It’s fair to say that life on the road is something most people do not desire, as a way to live out their days; but a young man named Chris McCandless believed it was necessary to avoid the venomous grips of society. McCandless goes as far as to venture out to the rest of the United States and even crossing borders to achieve his true destination, Alaska. He shows us living such a life can hold many unique and wonderful experiences.
In the 21st century, our nation is facing a major issue, causing teenagers to lose their lives at the hand of the wheel due to inexperienced driving. “Teen drivers between the ages of 16 and 19 are four times more likely than older drivers to be involved in an automobile crash,” and statistics show. Automobile accidents are the number one cause of teen deaths. Driving regulations are in high need to be changed in order for teenagers to gain more experience with driving before taking the driving test, which could help save countless adolescence’s lives.
I am writing to you today to bring your attention to the issues we are having with the potholes in Ohio. When potholes start to form they start off small, but then people drive roads everyday they end up getting bigger and bigger. When the potholes get massive enough this causes severe damage to cars and this makes everyone furious because they must pay more money out of their pocket. Potholes cause a bunch of tires to burst when hit a certain way as well. Most people like to swerve to miss the potholes and this could cause people to lose control of their cars which causes wrecks.

The average individual initially acquires his license as a young adult after successfully passing the required driver’s license test. This leads to more individuals continuing to be licensed throughout their lifetimes, which leads to many elderly drivers still having their licenses based on test results from at least 50 years before. Research shows that in 2009, 33 million licensed drivers were over 65, a 20 percent increase since 1999. It is estimated that by the year 2030, 70 million Americans in the United States will be over the age of 65 with 85 to 90 percent being eligible to drive with the same license they obtained 50 years earlier. Regardless of their original test results, elderly individuals should be required to retake the driver’s license test for the safety and benefit of the surrounding drivers.
Changing a Flat Tire There always seems to be a time, in life, when the worst things possible happen at the most unexpected time. Especially if you are by yourself in the middle of nowhere, or have never had to do it before. For example, there will be a time when you have no extra money to spend on anything, and an individual gets a flat tire or has a blowout. The steps to changing a flat tire can seem intimidating, especially if it is the first time doing it. It is rather simple if you have the right tools to do it.
If any of these three are missing, replace them immediately. Always keep your vehicle owner's manual in your car, as it will include details on where you can find your spare and steps for changing your tire. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WARNING In the event that your tire blew out while you were on the road, slow down, put your hazard lights on, and find a safe place to change your tire. If you are driving on a freeway or busy city street, it's best to get as far away from traffic as possible.
With the economy still at a low, most people just do not have that extra cash stowed away for special situations. The average income for an American family is said to be around $30,437 per tax payer and has only increased about $59 over the last 40 years. Yet prices on everything else seem to always be on the rise. How we save money and why we save money has changed over the last few decades. It always feels good to have some money set away for emergencies, but many people don't have this option and are living paycheck to paycheck.
There are a ton of reasons why you might need to park your car for an extended period in a big city. Probably, the most common is going on vacation. But, if you commonly use public transit, your car may not get used for days or weeks. In any case, a parking garage is a good choice for this kind of parking. It offers certain benefits that other kinds of parking do not provide, especially if you use ParkWhiz.
Take a moment and imagine yourself living an ordinary yet happy life. You’re good financially and happy where you are, but what if something you could’ve done in the past made your life greater today. Taking a Responsible Risk is scary, but no one really knows how great the outcome can be. What exactly is a “Responsible Risk” you may ask. Taking a responsible risk means that you are willing to try something new regardless of the outcome.
